Papa John’s has lost the “Pizza Wars”. We bought an all meat or supreme type pizza. We asked for the pizza to baked a little longer so that it would be crispy. We re warmed the pizza in a oven. The pizza lacked sufficient amount of ingredients so that it tasted bland & lacked flavor. It really lacked the toppings that were supposed to be on the pizza. I actually liked the crust but that doesn’t make up for the lack of toppings. The food itself was edible but so lackluster.

Giving these guys one star, because how do you forget to make an order??? So unprofessional! They didn’t even call. The door dash driver informed me of the delay. Finally received my order 1.5 hrs later. When the pizza arrived, one whole slice was left without toppings, how? How?! You literally have one job. Just do not order from here.

On Monday night I went and was helped by Lu and one of her coworkers. I had just arrived from a flight, and since everything else was already closed, I got there late. They were already closed too, and still they decided to make me a pizza and put so much love, lots of cheese, and such good vibes into it. Let me start by saying that the food quality and taste are always on point and amazing. Today we ordered 6 specialty pizzas for delivery for a birthday party at work. Put in the order early for a 11:15a delivery time. I didn’t know that they used Door Dash due to shortage of drivers. I called the store a couple of times frustrated that the order was really late. They explained the situation and I decided to just pick them up. The person working the counter was awesome. They definitely took care of us to make it right. Above and beyond what I was expecting or what I’ve been used to. Will definitely order from them again without worry. Maybe just not order delivery. Aloha!

Got to try the new Papa John’s location today! I walked in and ordered some pizza and was welcomed by a nice young man. I paid for my pizza and tipped (the highest option mind you) at 15%. Here’s where the problem was for me. I paid and asked nicely for the restroom key, because the bathroom is located outside of the pizza restaurant (which was set down on the counter) however before I had the chance to grab the key another (what appeared to be the manager? Might be wrong) young man insisted that I leave my license or credit card with them as “insurance” for the bathroom keys I was borrowing while complaining “many people have walked away with the bathroom keys unwittingly”. This would have been fine if I hadn’t paid yet but seeing as I had spent almost spent 100$ at this establishment along with a generous tip, I found this to be a bit bizarre & condescending. I would suggest you let paying customers use the bathroom keys without making a big hassle of it. The pizza was good with plenty of toppings and if your looking for a quick pie I would suggest ordering ahead seeing as the waiting area is quite small.

The manager and staff were so helpful when we had an issue with our order. They were very understanding and helped us fix the situation quickly. Finally customer service with a sense of humor and great attitude. We are very glad to have more pizza options in this area.

Considering everything. My first time there or at any papa John’s went well. It was busy. Saturday early evening. Service was good but the young guy working the register although not personable was on his game as far as knowing what was going on. Pizza was hot and when brought home was devoured and compliments were really good. Overall it was a great first experience and the pizza was great. The price was perfect for what I got and left room for tip. Thank you papa John’s Kihei

I had wanted to try their regular crust and their thin crust, but I didn’t wanna fly to Oahu. well, here it is and I’m blown away on the freshness and flavors. The regular crust is crispy and fluffy , where it counts. Also, the thin crust is crispy by won’t get all over the floor while eating. They can even cut the pizza in squares. The desserts are very tasty, and I can’t save it for later. Their nuggets are fresh and tasty. I didn’t make it to the sauces. The nuggets didn’t survive that long either
