Papa John’s is pure hype and a complete letdown.
When it opened in Kona, everyone made a big deal about it, but the excitement died fast. Orders take forever, the toppings are skimpy, and the pizza itself is bland and overpriced.
Pretty much everyone I know, friends and coworkers, agrees it’s not worth the money. For what they charge, the quality is honestly embarrassing. Judging by other reviews, this isn’t just a one-off bad experience either.
Do yourself a favor and spend your money at Black Rock Pizza or Domino’s, where you actually get what you pay for. Either this place seriously improves or it might as well shut its doors.

Went in ordered 3 things, the price was outrageous. Got cheesy bread, wasnt cheezin at all. Chicken wings are terrible, crunchy and soft and chewy and just overall BAD. Dont be fooled by the oreo bites they arent as good as they look. The workers on the other hand were super sweet and nice.
