11/23/2025 Made an online app order. Easy to find parking. Pizza was ready for pickup on time(12:31pm). Place looked very clean. There was only 1 employee working. He stayed busy, kept a great attitude, and displayed excellent customer service with phrases like, “welcome in,” “I hope you enjoy our pizza,” and “thanks for taking the time to visit us.” This may sound normal in any other city, but in 29palms an employee that rare deserves a raise! Came for the delish food, returning for the service

I have lived in 29 for 4 years now and the first time we ordered from this location was on Christmas Day 2025. The pizza was cooked so well and on time. It was so thankful!
Unfortunately with our order tonight the delivery driver was very nice and prompt but the pizza was lacking. It was I overcooked on the verge on being completely burnt and crispy and almost cold. Wings were not great either Unfortunately.

They have great customer service at this location. They dont ignore you and hive you attitude. I walked in after missing the bus one night,not to mention my phone was dead,and when i asked to use a phone they didnt stare at me like i was crazy, they lwt me use there personal cell phone i felt that was a great way to show professionalism and careing . Not many people actually act human out there these days ,also there restaurant is clean and there bathroom is clean too.

Almost zero cheese… Also burned and blackened edges with big bubbles in the crust because no cheese was covering the dough… We asked for extra cheese on one pizza and instead got almost none. Our other toppings were very skimpy as well.
We’ve had good pizzas here in the past but this was terrible. Picked up in a Friday around 5:30pm. Our mistake was not checking the pizzas before we left the store. I could have made a better pizza at home.

First of all Papa John’s is not stepped it up they don’t even know that they have a great white pizza my pizza is missing the Ramada tomatoes then I called waited on hold to make sure that he can do all flats and they said they couldn’t have I would have canceled the chicken order but after it was delivered they tell me that they cannot do all flats I will never eat at papa John’s again. Nobody out pizzas the hut!!!!!!!

Customer service sucks very under staffed one gentleman in there to place my order with my kids and he made it seem like it was the end of his world made us feel very uncomfortable if my kids didn’t want papa John’s so bad I definitely would have went elsewhere

Well ordered from papa johns and it seems that half my pizza was squished or something. Most likely from a delivery driver driving recklessly fast. Still good, but I’d prefer a pizza and not some weird croissant.

NY Style doesn’t have any crust worth mentioning…
If you aren’t putting sauce and toppings all the way to the edge then it isn’t NY style… stop wasting our time.
I hate Papas crust and only order when y’all do the NY style.
The other Papas in Yucca gets it right.

I placed an order today, (after their reopen) 3-25-24. I ordered a 10 piece boneless buffalo wing. The wings had almost no sauce on them, I had to add my own to them because they were so dry. On top of that my 10 piece only had 8 pieces of room temp chicken in it. I also ordered a large pizza. The doe was extremely flat and the crust was as well. The entire pizza ended up being bland and disappointing. I have no idea what happened after they reopened but I will never be going there again which makes me sad because they use to be my top pizza place to order from. The delivery driver was the only positive part of the experience, he was nice.
