After reading reviews and having a similar experience, this franchise seems ripe for a class action. Abusing 3rd party delivery without customer’s notice, allowing the third party driver to wait 20-30 minutes after they’re mark your food as picked up because they were sent a stacked order that has no intention of being made at the same time. 0 communication about estimated times for orders, allowing you to “schedule” a time for an order. I’m guessing one or all of these are misleading the consumer.
Greed. And the pizza is pretty mid tbh. I finally convinced my in-laws to stop ordering pickup or delivery from there during any gatherings after explaining to them why the pizza is an hour and a half late after ordering FIRST PARTY through PJ’s site, and getting shafted by the third party service they can’t even reach customer support for.
They also had no clue about stacked orders for these 3rd party apps either. It’s crazy when there is transparency and understanding of these business practices, people change their view of how predatory you are.
You’re lucky DD doesn’t care about your metrics either. You hide the communication behind your customer service, which you have 0 control over. Because if they could hear about HALF of the calls from a game night, on reservations you willingly overbooked, you’d be cooked.

It’s my daughter’s birthday party and we have no pizza. Even after ordering hours ahead of time. Cancelled the order and will never order Papa John’s ever again. Which imo is sad because my whole family loves papa johns.

I was so disheartened by the change in atmosphere tonight at Papa Johns. This has been the only place we order from for years and I was always greeted by this kind gentleman who called me “darlin’” and our pizza was always ready on time. Tonight couldn’t have been more opposite. Yes my pizza was suppose to be done at 5:14 and the lady handed it to me without apology at 5:40 which was frustrating but that isn’t why I am writing a review because things happen and restaurants can have a sudden influx and it’s all understandable. It was the front woman who had my jaw dropping. She was so condescending to the door dash employees, treating them like second class citizens who were all clueless. And as far as I could see door dash is there main source of customers so it seems like they should be treated the opposite for business sake. I saw her get after multiple delivery men for approaching the cash register to ask about their orders. What were they suppose to do when they arrive? I didn’t see a sign anywhere that instructed them where to stand and wait or an automated system showing their order and where it was in processing so how else would a new driver or even seasoned one know what to do but approach to counter and ask about their order??? I watched two delivery men walk out in frustration at how rude she was and after the second man she looked around at us in the waiting room and threw her hands up like “what’s his problem?” While everyone in the room was awkwardly sitting there wishing to tell her how uncomfortable the way she was treating people was making us. I wanted to ask about my pizza after 25 min but was afraid she would bite my head off too. Please change your set up Papa John’s. You have always been awesome at customer service and have a great product but no one should ever be treated this way, no matter how stressful or busy you are.

Wow, the staff here must have taken advanced courses in rudeness and disrespect. Their talent for treating people of color and delivery drivers poorly is truly unmatched. Clearly, customer service training just isn’t their thing maybe basic decency wasn’t on the syllabus either. No wonder this is the only place that would hire them; with that attitude, it’s hard to imagine anyone else would.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The staff came across as arrogant and unnecessarily rude throughout my visit, which made the whole interaction uncomfortable. The lady manager, in particular, spoke in a dismissive and unprofessional tone that felt completely uncalled for. I expect basic courtesy when I’m a customer, and this place failed to deliver it.

Ordered a pizza for delivery at 7:30 (it was before 6 when I ordered it). Received a text from delivery driver at 7:50 asking me to please cancel the order because “it might be another hour”. Apparently uncanceled orders create a problem for the delivery driver. I called on the phone and was told my order was cancelled but then received another text from the driver saying it wasn’t cancelled. Making a hungry customer wait isn’t a good look, but delaying a delivery driver who is just trying to earn a living? That’s unacceptable. Do better. Don’t take on more orders than you can handle in an evening.

pick up my pizza, but it was burnt and not made correctly. When I asked the cashier to check my order, she refused to admit the mistake, blamed me, and yelled that I placed it wrong. She then threw the pizza in the trash and said they wouldn’t refund or remake it unless I admitted fault.
When I asked for a manager, I was told “we’re all managers” and was threatened with police if I didn’t leave. This was unprofessional and unacceptable.

We’ve tried this Papa John’s twice. Both times were awful experiences. Way understaffed… one order we finally had to cancel because it was two hours late, and the other is over an hour late and we’re still waiting. Both ordered, we ordered ahead, which didn’t change the outcome at all.

Underside of the Pizza crust was insanely undercooked to the point it wasn’t edible. No idea what they did with these cheesesticks but they were all jacked up too. Both were just huge grease pits. Don’t waste your time with this place.

Don’t bother ordering carry out from this location on a weekend evening or anytime football or other popular sports are going on. They will not have your food ready and will offer no help and make no effort to make up for it. Unless you are ready to wait at the store for at least an hour and deal with other frustrated customers and staff, don’t bother. This situation has been going on predictably for years and Papa John’s hasn’t made any effort to improve conditions.
