I don’t often leave reviews, but I’ve been let down by this Papa John’s location one too many times. The photo I included of “cheese” sticks (with a tiny handful of cheese on about 10% of the pie) is an all too common occurrence at this location. I’ve had pizzas made incorrectly, been notified that my takeout order is ready to pick up only to then have a 40+ minute wait upon arrival (meanwhile, my pizzas were in fact ready, just sitting on the counter getting cold). It’s unfortunate that at this point, I don’t like ordering for the Papa John’s closest to my house by a good margin because I’ve come to expect poor quality and service at this one.

Papa John’s in St. Charles has excellent customer service!! We had a replacement pizza for an order that was not made correctly and when we called to order it, we added a couple extra items on and they didn’t charge me for any of it. I just can’t explain how much that meant to us. The food is pretty darn good too!

Ordered on the app. Wife was following along in app on the progress. Get the notification that it’s on it way. Wait for the knock at the door. Nothing. Then it says it’s been delivered , app states that it was handed to us. still nothing. Go out side and look for a car and on my neighbor s porch there sits our order. Out of ten houses on the block, two had lights on, us and not the neighbor
Start dishing the pizza out everyone and it has not been handled with much love and I’m pretty sure that two of the three pizza were cut by someone wearing a blindfold.
Call the store and you can hear the shoulder shrugs on the other end. They use grubhub when they are short drivers so no real answers on why it was left on the wrong porch or why my pizzas look like 3rd grade pottery class. We will call dominos from now.

I rarely leave reviews, but this Papa John’s visit was one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had. I placed on order over the phone before I even got there. Once there I paid for my order, then stood waiting for over 35 minutes.

During that time, I watched a manager publicly berate an employee in front of customers — completely unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness. After asking multiple times about my pizza, they finally “found” it sitting off to the side — cold and forgotten.

No apology, no accountability. Definitely won’t be coming back to this location anytime soon

I’m writing to express my frustration with my recent order experience. My delivery took nearly two hours to arrive, and when I called to ask about the delay, the representative I spoke with, Taylor, was very unwelcoming and did not offer any apology or empathy for the situation-even if the delay was beyond her control.
The automated system only mentioned that my order was delayed but gave no estimate of how long it would take. This lack of communication and courtesy was extremely disappointing. I had used part of my first paycheck since losing my job last month to treat my son and myself, and this experience was truly disheartening.
At this point, I don’t feel comfortable ordering delivery from this location again unless I pick up the food myself. I hope Papa John’s can address this issue to ensure other customers don’t experience the same.

Order has taken about an hour to be finished. I asked dasher while telling there there a 40 min wait of the store was short staffed tonight. Response being Store running 1 hour behind with 10 people working. Order was 1 small cheese pizza and 1 cinnamon pull apart. I’ve order through DoorDash and have gone through 4 delivery drivers waiting for order to be ready to deliver. Regardless if I am ordering through DoorDash or not this order should not be taking this long to be finished. It’s a Sunday night. My order was very simple. I’ve waited about 40-1 hour waiting for a small pizza to be finished with no toppings. Won’t be ordering from this location again and I only live up the street. Made this order around 8pm it’s now going on 9pm. I’ve ordered from this location before as well and it didn’t take this long.

ZERO STARS! My first and last time going to this location. Placed a pickup order online and waited more than 20 mins after the “pickup time” for my food. The unfriendly staff completely ignored me standing there and continued talking amongst each other while making orders for I assume the college campus — which must receive priority over all other orders. After waiting and waiting and barely being acknowledged I left….without my food. The next day I found out they marked the order as picked up and charged me for the food I never got. This is terrible customer service that I refuse to deal with. I won’t be going back, focus on the college since that’s all I heard them talking about while I stood there.

This location uses doordash to deliver. I was given an estimated time of 1 hour to get my order. 1 hour after ordering I had been assigned 4 different door dash drivers who all cancled after waiting 20 min to pick up my pizza. 2 hours after I ordered i got a notification that the pizza was delivered. I went to check and there still wasn’t a pizza. I called the store and told them I didnt receive my pizza. They told me that it was marked as completed on their end, and offered to resend my order, which I agreed too. 1 hour after re-ordering my pizza I get a call from a 5th door dash driver saying that the driver cancled the wrong order and they cannot complete the delivery. They told me I would have to contact door dash support for a refund even though I ordered through the Papa John’s app. I called the store and cancled the order. I was given a full refund but this was still one of the worst experiences I have ever had ordering. I will not be ordering here again until they no longer service orders through doordash.

They suck. Last week I ordered, waited 2 hours after it said it would be delivered, went up there waited 30 mins just to find out they hadn’t even started it. While waiting in line for service the workers including the manager were playing around, until delivery drivers and customers started dropping orders. Today I actually got my order but was missing my sauce cups, the delivery driver said he tried to tell them but they ignored him. 2 strikes and you’ve lost a papa johns lover.

Had hair in my food called the store to let them know the worker caught attitude saying calling back when a manager is there. Wasn’t polite at all. I came up there to get my pizza made first thing he said to me was where is the hair you so call say is in the pizza. I wouldn’t lie about having hair in my pizza. Didnt acknowledge the problem at all. Horrible service and I would never come back.
