Got a large pizza today there was a big portion with no cheese how do u forget the cheese walked in to get it there was nobody in view except a baby on the counter I ordered original crust it definitely was super thin this store needs folks who wanna work might get more business will never return here

Extremely disappointing experience at this Papa John’s location. Our order was transferred to DoorDash without notice, and instead of handing us the food as requested, it was left on the ground—not even at our door. The pizzas had minimal cheese (even the half-cheese one had toppings in the wrong place), and the boneless wings were barely sauced.
We called to resolve the issue but waited over 10 minutes with no answer, so we drove to the store. When we arrived, the manager had to be called in from outside—she was sitting in a car with someone else. She offered to remake the food and said she would refund the order. I paid with Apple Pay via my USAA card, which typically alerts me to refunds immediately. Despite being there for over 20 minutes, no refund notification came through.
She reassured me that it had been processed, but by the next morning, not only was the refund still missing—there was an additional unauthorized charge from the store. This was unacceptable and feels like a complete violation of trust. I do not recommend this location at all.

I ordered my pizza online. Said it was being delivered by doordash. They didn’t knock. They didn’t ring up my doorbell. Nothing. The app finally says that it had been delivered. Look outside and my pizza just sitting on the ground. Why can’t a doordasher ring your doorbell? Delivery drivers were the lowest of the low in a pizza store and they managed to replace them with even lower paid employees. My pizza was ordered well done and it’s obviously not well done. The toppings aren’t even close to the edge of the sauce line. The pizza is just really poorly made.

I’m a fan of Papa John’s, love the crust, like the sauce, and the garlic butter is divine. With that being said, I have to say this is possibly the worst Papa John’s pizza I’ve ever purchased . It’s not a complicated pizza, it was a beef and bacon pizza on original crust. When I got it home, I live a half mile away, the crust was so crispy that it would shatter when you attempted to bite it or break it. Not to mention it was nearly flat like it hadn’t risen. This was very disappointing, especially since this was my first visit to the Decatur store.

I ordered 2 New York style pizzas. Jacks pizza would look more appealing than this… I also ordered boneless wings at the same time online. I get the confirmation email.

We went on wacky Wednesday and took advantage of a large specialty pizza for only $11.00 with coupon. The pizza wasn’t even as good as a Jacks frozen pizza. It had less toppings than a Jack’s and was missing two ingredients. Sad to say they lost our business.

They reduce the cheese for every topping you add. That’s pretty well known. This was my two-topping pizza with extra cheese tonight. Hardly any toppings or cheese on it. One part had no cheese or toppings at all. Just thrown together. No instructions followed.
