You made my husband a believer! He had never been here and I had been telling him for years how amazing Longhorn is. Well last night he loved everything about our experience! To start out our firecracker chicken wrap appetizer was great. Perfect start! We both ordered filets as entrees and they were cooked to perfection at medium-rare as we specified. We both added mushrooms, and they were also divine! I ordered street corn on-the-cob and a loaded baked potato as my sides, and although you should pack a toothpick, that corn is amazing!! My husband ordered the steakhouse mac-n-cheese and the shrimp and lobster chowder and was in heaven. Finally as if we weren’t fully stuffed and unable to finish all of that so far, we couldn’t leave without ordering the chocolate molten lava cake to-go. We sampled it warm at the table and ohh my is was delicious! Needless to say folks…she just had, “chocolate cake for breakfast!” Lastly service was outstanding from the moment we walked in to be seated and through dinner. It was a Thursday night and we experienced no wait either. We found a great addition to add onto our date night list. And in the words of my husband who had never been here before, “we’re never going back to that other steak place again!” So thank you Longhorn!

Once the order was brought never saw our waiter again until he brought the bill out and then as he walked he asked if we wanted cheese cake. Never checked how our meal was, offered us refills after our plates were empty. My mom asked for for well done and got mostly a toss between medium and medium well. My steak was great, I asked for medium rare and it was perfect.

The food was amazing and came out fast even though the restaurant was quite busy on a Sunday evening. The bartenders and servers were all professional, knowledgeable, and worked as a well practiced team with excellent customer service. The atmosphere was relaxed and despite the restaurant being almost completely full, my girlfriend and I could still easily talk with each other without having to raise our voices. It is a short walk from the nearby TA so, if you’re a truck driver and want to treat yourself to a great steak and welcoming atmosphere, this is a great place to patronize.

Great atmosphere, got right in and out on a Friday night when the “other” guys quoted a 2 hour wait. The food is always cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The filet just melts in your mouth. Servers are nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall an awesome experience. Think I found my new go-to spot.
