Ordered food to crystal mn. Delivery driver did not use crystal zip code. Called asking where my food is, was told delivered, but they would send me another one. Waiting an hour since order was in, no pizza. Called back to the store and they said the delivery driver just got back and delivered it. They didnt want to refund me but said they would. 2 weeks have gone by and I call about my refund. They stated nothing was issued and its been so long they need a manger to look but it is our busy time and he will have to call you back in 2 to 4 hours. I recommend pick up not delivery. This place use to be good not sure what has changed.

Whoever was working by themselves on the morning of 05/12/2025 at 11:30am is the reason for this 5 star review. He was so excited to make my pizza which was his first order of the day. He was so friendly and literally the best pizza man I have ever encountered. I could tell he enjoyed making this pizza by the quality of how it was put together and how good it tasted. I have never had a Papa John’s pizza taste this good before. Sometimes all it takes is for someone to love and enjoy doing whatever they’re doing, no matter the task, to make a profound difference.

They always send a door dash person who always forget to bring change in hopes for a bigger tip. This is the second time I am placing a order tonight. Probly going to have the same result. I called the store manager and she was not even remotely helpful. Said I would have to place my order with a debit card or coe get it ? So your 3rd party drivers dont have change? Crazy. Since when does poppa johns not accept cash ? This is only one of the problems I have had with this store. They always forget stuff with your order or dont follow order directions or forget the pop. Im surprised you guys cant keep drivers. your service and delivery department is in urgent need of revamping. Not to mention all the poppa bucks on my account from the first order are gone. And they arnt on my account for the second order I am now placing this evening. Seems like a bait and switch. I dont feel this is fair to me seeing how I order at once or twice a week for a family of 3. Get it together.

Got the wrong crust. I ordered regular crust but got thin/gluten free crust instead. Could not finish as it was not my preference in taste. Not flavorful and quite cardboard-like. A refund and or new pizza would nice. Just saying. Maybe? ♂️

Worst service ever! Took 2 hrs 10 min to get my food. Ordered 2 pizzas at 5:30, app showed it was on the way at 7 but took 40 min to get here. I live 10 min away. The woman “Manager” I spoke with was rude and unhelpful. Said it was on the way and nothing she could do. The man I spoke with after delivery to complain the pizza was cold left me on hold for 15 min before I gave up to put my kids to bed.

I get it’s new years day, but I took 2 hours for cold pizza. We had to call 3 times to get updates with the only answer is it on the way. Will never use them again. I will tell everyone I know not to purchase from them. Would give less then one star if I could.

Have an issue ordering from here probably 4/5 times I order. You’d think I’d learn. This time it was ordering NO CONTACT delivery in which the driver told me I had to sign the receipt and would not just drop the food off…. like they’re supposed to. This the first time this has ever happened. Called the store and they said they wouldn’t do anything for me. No compensation, no credit, no resolve at all. THEN I ACTUALLY LOOK AT MY FOOD. Burnt garlic knots, cold pizza, and forgot EVERY SAUCE I ORDERED. Pizza not even cut through all the way and looks like a child cut the pizza, and supposed to be NY style, the big slices. No point in calling up there again as I’m sure they won’t do anything for it yet again. Such bad customer service! Also started off with a phone call saying they were out of every pop flavor I ordered. Wow. Get it together! Also, no question about it, everything should’ve been refunded. So Corey, that’s what you could do for me instead of making excuses and saying you can’t do anything. You’re the manager.

Pizza was oval shaped, undercooked, and ordered extra pepperoni… Maybe 10 pieces on whole pie. Garlic knots looked like bow ties. Called and complained and the response was less then acceptable. They are sending a replacement pizza in about an hour. Afte r waiting over an hour for my first order. This location seems to be going fown hill. Delivery person were great though. Very nice drivers.

Do not do delivery. Never. I’ve done pick up many times before— good pizza. No problem. It’s my closest place.
Tonight, I called at 5:45, placed order for delivery. Quick and easy. Was told 25 minutes to delivery.
At 6:50 I called back and the auto-machine now said it was only 39 minutes (?!!) until my delivery. I called back again and got a person who said “MAYIPUTYOUONHOLD” and immediately placed me on hold for 40 minutes. I hung up and called back. They tried to do it again but I said “NO NO NO NO” while she was talking and said “IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MY PIZZA FOR ALMOST TWO HOURS AND CANT TALK TO ANYONE.” She still put me on hold.
She came back after maybe 15 seconds and said the delivery person had just left. I explained ALL of the above. She had a pretty monotone voice and said “sorry, we’ve been kind of busy tonight” and hung up.
Wow.
Edit: the pizza arrived cold, with about half the amount of the normal cheese, and not sliced** at all. I literally lifted the entire thing out of the box with two fingers. Also, evidently someone at corporate saw this review because I got a mailer apologizing for “my recent experience” not being up to their standards. I appreciate that, and I will use the coupons at a different store. I do like papa Johns, but I’m leaving the rating the same because (1) it is for this store, (2) it is a pervasive problem, and (3) it was not addressed by the particular store (actually the entire interaction with the store was really bad).
**Edit2: I’m realizing after reviewing my pic that the lack of slicing could have been because it was the “jack o lantern” special so they didn’t want to mess up the face.
