My rating is based solely on the quality of customer service, or lack thereof, at this location. Absolutely no one at this location should be working in customer service, primarily because no one at this location seemed to know what that is. I get it, working at a low paying job sucks, I’ve had my fair share of those jobs myself but it’s not the customer’s fault. I always tip at least 20%, when tipping is an option, this time was no different, I tipped 20% on a $75 order even though it was not deserved. I won’t be back to this location. I will drive the extra distance to the Papa John’s in West Des Moines or go to Domino’s.

I just ordered well done pizzas from this location and although the tops were crispy, the dough and bottom half of the pizzzas are still doughy and underdone. I think their stove is defective and not heating the lower half of the pizza or the temp is too high with not enough time in the oven to bake properly. Otherwise, delivery and service was excellent, just really disappointing that the pizza is underdone but burnt on the top.

We got a pepperoni pizza with a garlic, stuffed crust. We ordered ten minutes before they closed and they were kind enough to accept our order. Which we are grateful for. It was a perfect dinner after a long day of work 🙂
Back again for another positive review. I came in last night (August 16, 2024) to pick up an online order. Every staff member was friendly and polite. From the man who greeted me with a smile to the fellow delivery man who held the door open for me on my way out. These gentlemen were so kind and added to my experience. Thank you Papa Johns staff for making me feel so welcome.

Quick and fast!! There is definitely nothing healthy about the food, but it fits the bill when you feel like you don’t care about getting fat. Anyways, I did a pick-up and I could not believe that there was no air-conditioning so my heart goes out to all the workers there!!!

Manager Ryan is a mensch! We actually had a great experience despite/because of a problem. There was an issue with our delivery not getting to us on time, we called to check on it, and the manager, Ryan, went above and beyond, totally out of his way, to apologize and make it right (even though the situation was pretty much out of his control). We really appreciated the way it was handled and how Ryan clearly cared about doing things well. Will definitely order here again!

Definitely my preferred Papa John’s location. The quality remains unbeatable! Delicious and my favorite pizza chain compared to Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Little Caesar’s:, etc. Have been a customer for years. Pizza is consistently great. The stuffed crust garden fresh (aka vegetarian supreme) @ PJ’s will be the main character of my death row⚡️ meal.

Typical Papa Johns. Slightly above average pizza. Staff is generally friendly. The preparation time is usually very quick. Menu prices are high, but there are always discounts available in the app.
