Ordered pizza while headed home for the night, picked it up, got home opened it and it was the wrong pizza. Called to let them know they got my order wrong and asked to talk to the manager and supposedly I was. Well the lady was very rude, sounded like she had no idea what she was doing. She wasn’t even willing to do anything about it, until I asked to talk to the manager and then she says she is. She was very hesitant on even making it right. She finally offered to make the right one and deliver it because I have two little kids. Only thing is we finally got it and all you really see on the cheese side of the pizza is crust. This is the worst experience I have had, the worst Papa Johns in Ankeny, every time I order from them the service sucks. Consider changing your management, or find someone that actually wants to do their job.

I have told my friends to order their pizza from this location specifically because the pizza from this location outshines most others I’ve tried. Haven’t had a cold delivery or a smashed pizza at all as far as I can recall, and I’ve been ordering from this place for over two years now.

Ordered pizza and was told it would be 35-45 minutes. I arrived to pick up about 40 minutes later and was told it would be another 45 minutes items to an hour. I was told they got an influx of orders. I would be understanding if they were another 10-15 minutes. But not off by double the time. A big outfit like this pizza franchise I would think their computer systems are smart enough to give them better estimated times.

I know the chain has suffered quality issues over the years, but this location does a great job. My experience ranges from completely adequate to excellent. Last time I went they put as much cheese and pepperoni on my pizza as they did when I was child and it was amazing.

I just want to say thank you to store#418. We ordered a gluten free pizza through the app. It can as a regular pizza. We called to see if we can get the gluten free that was ordered and how to correct it. Not only did they bake us our gluten free pizza in 10 min. They also delivered a new large pizza and bread sticks. They went above and way beyond. Thank you so much store 418.

I love this papa johns so much have always had a great experience and I am a service industry worker myself so I always “tip out the ass” I placed an order tonight thru the app, it said it would be ready between 11:55-12:15 we showed up at 12:17 to what seemed like the closer locking up, my boyfriend hopped out asking if he had a pizza for Stefanie because the business lights were off he replied with “we did. We threw it away.” Still got charged with a tip and awaiting feedback thru papa John’s corporate.
