Customer Service A-1!!!! Fernando was very helpful.
They made suggestion of a new sushi roll . “Bang Bang Roll” . It was DELICIOUS . The hibachi was made behind the counter since it was only two of us. The food was okay ( I prefer more spicy) Its not upcale like most hibachi restaurants.. The front area needs to be updated …other than that , the restrooms were clean. Overall the customer service was far superior to anything it lacked.

By FAR, the worst hibachi I’ve ever had! It was more Mexican than Hibachi. I could barely understand the server, who appeared to get upset when I asked her to repeat herself. But, I did understand her when she said “No noodle for you”, after I asked if they could substitute my daughter’s rice for noodles. And, when they gave us our plates, they gave my daughter, the one who didn’t want rice, two servings of rice! ♂️
The steak and chicken tasted like they were cooked on a grill with no soy or any form of seasoning whatsoever. Honestly, the ONLY thing I found to be anywhere remotely close to being what I’d consider “Hibachi” were the chopsticks.
Even the ginger dressing on the salad sucked! The ginger dressing didn’t taste the least bit like ginger, but more like a sweet mayonnaise! It just blows my mind as to how far these guys are from being a true hibachi restaurant!
It did seem pretty presentable inside, though… ♂️

Out for a drive in Mandeville and we decided to try Kim Hibachi/Sushi Bar & Grill. A delicious choice!!! Everything was scrumptious!!! From the yum yum sauce to the bang bang sushi to the savory entrees! The servings sizes were filling, definitely worth it!! The atmosphere was cozy and then staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful!! Definitely a place to enjoy.

Just not very good unfortunately. The steak hibachi was pretty bad – the meat itself was very low quality and spongy textured despite being ordered medium, and the rice was bland. Chicken tempura my partner got was fine, but dry. I only ate about a third of my steak as it actually made me feel pretty sick. The service was fine, but a bit slow. The place as a whole looked a bit run down. I won’t be going back sorry to say, the quality of the food was just very poor, poor enough to make me actually ill.

Been here four times, won’t go back. We went for lunch today; ordered the Shrimp and Veg Tempura Appetizer for $6.95, was charged $10.99, ordered Pork Pot sticker Appetizer for $4.25 was charged $5.99, order Sushi Bento Box lunch for $11.99 was charged $13.99. When I questioned the bill she said they had gone up on the prices. They basically where charging 40 to 60% more then the prices on the Menu. See photo’s. Don’t do business with this establishment.

This was our first time visiting here and oh my goodness it is absolutely delicious. The sushi is so fresh from the fish to the vegetables, their baked salmon, they do a slightly different presentation than other places and it’s amazing, the hibachi is probably the best we’ve ever had. The rice is not saturated in butter and soy sauce, and It’s very flavorful, and all of the meat is just tender and delicious. Highly recommend and we will be back soon.

Pretty good sushi for the price ! The delivery was good with the order being delivered before the estimated arrival time. Eel sauce and soy sauce were also very good !

The staff was great and so was the hibachi. I really enjoyed my steak and rice. Only thing I didn’t like was it was empty when we went which seemed awkward with staff watching and waiting while we ate.
