Placed an order online for a future time of 5:30pm. I arrived at that time and realized there was already a huge problem. Lots of people were waiting inside and looked upset. By the time the guy at the front got to me, he told me they hadn’t even started my order yet and told me to come back in 15 or 20 minutes. I could tell by his screens it would be longer, so I said I’ll be back in 30. At 6pm, I came back and it was worse than ever, chaos. It took 10 minutes to get to the front again and then he said they had forgotten to make part of my order. That it would take them 5 1/2 minutes to make my garlic bread. By the time he finally got my order together, it was 6:20pm, almost an hour after the original pick up time. They should have stopped taking online orders, but they got bogged down by them and a I was standing there, he was still taking phone in orders when he should have told customers that they simply could not do it. We’ve had pizza here lots of times prior without issue. It is just crazy to me that he could sr how far they were behind and didn’t do anything actively to stop the chaos, but was making it worse. He basically threw my food at me and I didn’t even get a receipt. My pizzas were cold before I even got to my car. This needs done very serious intervention and retraining in customer service and business practices. The system you use currently should be overhauled to stop accepting orders when there are loaders up times for pick up and only so many ovens. It’s common sense. Don’t take more orders if you’re already on a sinking ship!

Papa John’s always has the best online deals. And the people up there (in Monticello & Logansport) are pleasant but busy. In a good way! My food is usually right, only once was there any issue, but it was resolved easily. If you’re down to carry out your food then you should give it a try!

Ordered online . Got there at the pickup time that was stated. They said it would be 10 more minutes. I go outside. Come back in. This time the said 5 more minutes. Waited. Finally got pizza. It was not cooked fully. Dough was raw . If they are busy and short handed then shut down the internet ordering part. To get a handle on the orders.

The past few time we have gone it has sucked. It’s very hit or miss and recently they have been missing. Today we ordered extra sauces and you pay like a $1 each for those. And they didn’t give them to use. When we got there they didn’t even have the pizza in the oven. We asked if they got our sauces and they said yes. We got home and were missing all our sauce. And when you order on the app you have to go to the store in person to get a refund. It’s just like they don’t care.

Standing here waiting, so might as well write a review. Arrived 30 minutes after placing an online order, which is when they said it would be ready. After about 35 minutes, half the order was ready (2 items). It’s now been another 35, still waiting for the last 2. Not many orders have gone out during my wait, maybe 10, so I don’t think it’s volume.
Update: total wait time 1 hour, 20 minutes. Food was good except for one pizza being cold.

We ordered takeout and they said they were overwhelmed and understaffed at the moment. We said that we were in no rush and bring it when you can. We received everything that we ordered and it was hot. Very nice delivery driver and the food was excellent. We will order again. Since we ordered takeout I will rate atmosphere average.

I ordered pizza for my family today and was quoted that it would arrive at 7:00 I looked on the app and it stated it was still in the oven it was in the oven for 30 minutes called them because what they are doing is clearing it as it gets on their screen and then it shows on their order app that it’s in the oven so when you call because it’s late the man gets crappy with you very rude!!!!! And not supposed to be clearing the pizzas off the screen until the pizza goes into the oven. Per company policy!

If it’s going to be an hour and a half, tell me it’s going to be. Don’t make me wait in a waiting room with no seats with 15 other people. If youre backed up tell the truth, ill wait at home for an hour and a half then come grab it instead of waisting my time.
