Ordered a extra large Pizza and this is what I received. And when I called them, they acted like it was no big deal. If I wanted a large pizza, I wouldn’t have paid for an extra large pizza

I recommend to quit the corporate greed & drop Doordash as your delivery service and hire enough actual drivers. Is the poor customer service & giving you a bad name really worth the $money$ saved from paying someone? I’m so tired of my order being rerouted to Doordash then they have the nerve to text or call me to complain because I live outside of town and they have to drive to me for a $5 tip on a $20 order then I’m already being charged $6 delivery fee. Therefore that should be $11 going to the driver not to mention whatever Doordash may throw on top (as I know they often do have bonuses). That’s the BS a customer has to deal with 99% of the time and like I told the driver a tip is earned not given. I will add to a tip everytime if I get my food in a timely manner, have good communication and a polite driver.

Barely any cheese on the outside of my papadia, wasn’t cut, and is doughy and not cooked all the way. Usually have good experiences here but the last few months of ordering, has shown how much this place has gone down hill. I really like papa johns food but the quality sucks anymore and its disappointing.

Their order ahead system needs lots of work. It’s currently set up to put the preplaced order into the system half an hour before the order is supposed to be ready. So even though I placed the order 4 hours ahead of everyone else, because the system didn’t place it in the queue until 6:45, they were already an hour and a half behind on orders, so instead of mine getting bumped up the list so it would be ready at the time I requested 4 hours prior, it got added to the bottom of the currently placed orders and I was told that my pizza’s wouldn’t be ready until 2 hours after my preplaced order time. It was very frustrating that I did my due diligence to get the pizza’s at the time I needed them with the system that they put in place for that reason, and yet I was still pushed to the back of the line behind all of the people that placed last minute orders. Needless to say that I canceled my order and went to Avalanche Pizza instead.

Absolutely Awful ! We Got A Heart Shaped Pizza That Was Literally Paper Thin With Next To No Toppings And Was Burnt To Top It Off! Paid $20 For Our Whole Order & It Was A Complete Waste. Was Furious! And To Top It Off It Was Kinda Late When We Placed Our Order So By The Time We Picked Up Our Food And Got Home It Was Too Late To Have It Replaced Because They Were Already Closed.

For my most recent visit there were only 2 employees working so it took a little longer than expected, I order online and this is the first time in 4 different visits that they got my order right! These 2 employees are rock stars! This is in Athens, O 5pm on Tuesday 6/24/25.

One of the worst places to ever get food. I get you guys are mad you only make $8 a hour but that’s a you problem cry about it. I order a pizza they try to charge me more than the signs say. After the pizza was cooked of course not cooked all the way felt like play-Doh i go home and go to eat it with the family. I open the pizza and it’s not cut at all it’s a literal frisbee. The workers there are so rude. You can find better quality pizza in a dumpster

I usually love Papa Johns.
I got a basic large pepperoni and cheese pizza and it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Hardly no toppings mostly cooked dough. I absolutely do not recommend this location. Of course we are from out of town. I must say the Papa Johns in my home town is definitely a customer pleaser.

Papa John’s has been my favorite pizza regardless of what state I’ve lived in. They always have amazing ingredients and delicious pizza dough. I love stuffed crust. Avalanche is good also, and local. I usually order from Avalanche. However, Papa John’s had a shorter wait time so that was nice to have. Will continue to order from Papa John’s if I need to order from a chain. Better ingredients, better pizza!
