Hit or miss on the quality of food. Delivery from this location takes more then an hour, to an hour and a half on average, and always arrives cold. My last order was a carryout, and was perfect. They seem to be very under staffed, so I suggest carryout rather then delivery.

Ordered a pizza nearly 2 hours before I had to call the store and see where it was as the tracker said delivered. They had 1 delivery driver and were struggling to get through the orders in the night.
Ive had other big chains such as dominos call me up and cancel themselves when it gets like this and maybe this store such do the same. I ended cancelling my order on the phone and let them keep it as was frustrated with the replies from the store.

Bad night for pizza!! Not sure what the problem was? Not enough help? I ordered at 5.they changed it from 36 min to 60.ok.i went up at 1.5 hrs later & then they said another 45 min!! Forget it,I cx. They lost a lit of orders.

Ordered delivery and half of the order was missing. When I called the store the manager was quick to blame Doordash, who they subcontracted, and only wanted to offer a small refund. It shouldn’t require a debate and 5 minutes of being on hold in order to have the missing items sent out.

Order was delivered 1 hour 15 minutes+ after it was placed and was cold. We called store to try and get a new pizza but were placed on hold 3 different times and had to get something else to eat. Corporate directed me to the “district manager” who had a bad attitude and didn’t even apologize or acknowledge any issue.

Ironically this store is celebrating new management, but it was a horrendous first impression. Ordered online, pizza was ready in 10 minutes. Arrived at the store,and waited 20 more minutes just for someone to make eye contact with me so I could take my already paid pizza home with me. The online order form confirmed it was ready, I could see the box with my name on it, and yet could not get it because all of the five employees were avoiding the customers in the store.
It’s mind boggling to think that a store wouldn’t want to just hand someone their purchased product so they don’t have to keep avoiding eye contact awkwardly. It was almost as if customers were a nuisance, which seems counterintuitive for a business designed to serve customers. The shop was definitely slammed with orders, but the avoidance of queueing customers only compounds the employees own stress. There were at least four other people waiting with me. It was such an odd way to deal with the pressure of a busy order night.
There are plenty of other pizza options around. Save yourself the frustration.

Does this look burnt?
Have been ordering pizza from Papa John’s since I moved to Lakewood. Today I ordered 2 large pan pizzas and they arrived completely singed on the top and burnt at the bottom.
Called the Detroit Avenue branch and the lady told me that the pan pizzas usually come a little ‘Dark’.
Told her that I had been ordering the pizza for a while now and her response was ” I don’t think we’ve had the pan for that long”. In the end she agreed to send out a new order.
Not sure if I was correct about the burnt pizza but someone please let me know from the pictures I’ve posted if I’m wrong.

I ordered a pizza from this location at 6:08pm and didn’t receive it untill 7:47pm. Not only that when I texted the driver to check on status he told me he was just the driver and that I should take it down a notch. And the pizza was cold. Awful pizza and shitty staff

Twice I’ve ordered 2 liters with a pizza from them, and twice in a row they did not deliver the 2 liter. The first time they offered a refund but the refund never came through.
