Two words: ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. Dear Papa John’s, this isn’t just bad pizza, it’s a culinary crime scene. I wouldn’t feed this to a stray dog, but hey, if your goal was to combine cardboard, grease, and regret in one box, mission accomplished. Maybe other locations can make edible food, but this one? This one will have you questioning your life choices with every bite.

This pizza is probably the worst franchise pizza in the country. The sauce is way to sweet, and I like a sweet sauce. That’s what kills it. Need a second sauce. Are you listening Papa, probably not. And if you are, you probably don’t care. The employees in the Calcutta store were very kind and helpful. But the pizza is just to nasty to buy again. Remember you need a second sauce.

Nothing like your delivery driver shaking down a 17 year old for a tip that was provided when the order was made. We simply were not home, thought we’d order pizza for everyone so it’d be there when we arrived.. and it turned into a horrible experience. My son was home alone when the driver arrived. He questioned my son almost instantly about the tip, and when my son said “my dad tips when he orders”. The driver told him to call him.. when my son refused he then asked him if he was over 18. LIKE WHAT?!? Why, you trying to throw down over a tip? That my husband provided when we ordered? Maybe the store should do some training. Educate them on how tipping works.. and you get tips for good service. Not bullying them or brow beating them trying to get MORE tips.. like I’m sorry that 10% tips wasn’t good enough for you. Do better.

They have great pizzas always knowingly been great for me since first was built when I lived on Shatto Street (Twin Plex Apt.) in Akron Ohio Summit County -l remember also they would always whenever my mom ordered a large pizza they always delivered a very big size wide rectangle oblong box of pizza with cutted up into squares which I liked ! They don’t make it like that no more only a large pizza cutted up into triangles but back then whenever ordered for a large pizza they always explained that is the only way we can deliver a large pizza even though it’s way too big ( too much pizza) that’s how we serve in delivering a large pizza!!
I miss that way they used to make for a large pizza cutted up into squares with a lot of cheese on it that when eating pizza the cheese were stretchy and the pizza itself very quality taste , sauce and toppings including the cheese was very great excellently tasted good wish they’d make that size etc. as used to be delivered like that when I was living in a Twin Plex apartment 490 Shatto Street was my address when lived with my parents they ordered the pizza every time!

The worst pizza we have ever gotten from Papa John’s,we waited over an hour for 2 pizzas that definitely wasn’t worth the wait or the money! Barely any sauce,not even enough to taste it,pizza tasted like straight flour.

You just typically order on the phone and pick it up so it’s nice and the pizza and other items are usually made well but recently they’ve been very shoddy and inconsistent, sometimes not cooked fully.
