We had a carry out order on 5/9/25. Picked it up at 6 pm. The customer service was incredibly bad. From the moment we started speaking the lady had a bad attitude. I had my wallet out getting ready to pay and grabbed the pizza to look at it and make sure everything was correct before paying $27 for a single pizza. (The pizza was completely underwhelming).
The lady working the counter took the pizza out of my hand and said I could not touch it until I paid. At this point I was thinking you can’t be serious. She was so incredibly rude to the point that my friend and I walked out and just looked at each other like what just happened. I asked her if people really run out of the store with a pizza? I had my card ready to pay.
Really bad energy at this place and they treat customers poorly. I mean it’s Papa John’s so I wasn’t expecting much, but this person should never work a customer service front of the house job. I’d be willing to speak to the franchise owner about how the place was being run. Yikes. Worst take out Pizza experience I’ve had in my life.

Stopped in at Papa Johns Pizza the other night and the food hit the spot. The crust was soft with a little crisp, cheese melted nice, and the toppings tasted fresh. The staff got my order out quick and everything was still hot when I opened the box. Simple place, good pizza, and friendly folks working there. I’ll grab from here again next time I’m craving something easy and tasty

Actually drove to the store to place my order in person as I had a special request that I wanted to confirm was heard correctly (just adding hot sauce onto the top of the pizza before going into the oven) only to be met with “so you want a hot sauce instead of pizza sauce” : “no, I want it made normal just with a little hot sauce cooked on top of it” .. “sorry I can’t put two sauces on the same pizza”… maybe this isn’t a big deal to most, but this is specifically my favorite pizza that the muscle shoals location makes for me just fine. I will not be returning to this location for any reason.

Wife ordered online….waited at the window….. Waited at the window……. Finally was acknowledged to be told someone else would be waiting on me once they finished waiting on customers that had walked inside. Probably won’t do that again at this location. I was on my way home after working then had a shot in my knee, so I wasn’t really wanting to be waiting as long as I did.

Ordered 1 large, 1/2 onion,mushrooms, green pepper. Other 1/2 bacon, green pepper. What we got was ALL onion, 1/2 bacon,mushrooms, grn.pepper. So not everyone could eat pizza due to onion allergies!!! What a disappointment!!

The pizza and delivery time was spot on. But the problem was the recommended tip. I always do the lowest while ordering but ALWAYS give extra on delivery. This driver gave my grandson the delivery as I was approaching them. But before I could say or do anything, this driver said “thanks for the tip” with attitude. Sorry he lost his patience and a higher tip. But not cool attitude while a child present. Don’t see anymore Papa John’s deliveries here.

Ordered my pizza at 7:15 pm and it still hasn’t arrived, (it’s 9:15 pm). Also when I called it was because they only had one driver, which I understand but Jesus. At least tell me on the app it will take that long. Plus they said mine was the next one out but the app said it hasn’t even been put in the oven yet. The pizza is usually 30 mins late here but jeez this is next level.
