I want to start by saying I really appreciated the handwritten card with my name on it, thanking me for my service and hoping I enjoyed my pizza. That personal touch was nice and isn’t something you see very often.
That said, there were a couple of issues with my order. Since they took the time to write me a message, I figured I reciprocate. I requested light sauce, but the pizza honestly seemed to have extra sauce, which was frustrating since that’s a pretty specific preference.
I also don’t have the option to choose whether my order is delivered by DoorDash or directly through Papa John’s. With DoorDash, I can pay for priority delivery so my food comes straight to me without extra stops. I don’t get that option here, and in this case my order had additional stops before reaching me, which affected the overall experience.
Because of those issues, I’d rate this experience a 3 out of 5. Great customer gesture, but consistency with order details and delivery timing needs improvement.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received at Papa Johns. Said our order was ready at 5:28. We get there and somehow they lost it.. 30 minutes later to get a pizza. No apologies, nothing. Add to it they hired Ray Charles to cut it.

The best Papa John’s in North Tampa. When you order a pizza . They give. cups, paper plates, and napkins. No other store has done this. been driving for Amazon and other delivery services for years. Keep up the incredible customer satisfaction

Pizza and side was cold. No knock at the door for the delivery, just happened to take the trash out and the food was outside the door. We have dogs so no one knocked. Call the store and I was told that there is nothing I can do cause door dash delivers. No empathy no making it right. Sucks because the house hold is split between dominos and papa John’s. Papa lost the battle tonight. Disappointed!

This is one of those A+ experiences all restaurants should share with their customers on the regular. If you want to be greeted with Kindness, Respect & Professionalism while receiving Hot, Fresh food, then stop through this location. You won’t regret or forget it. They treat the customers and the delivery drivers like family. They’ll have your food ready for you when you get there. If they don’t, it’s OK because they’re working on it making sure it’s just the way you want it. So place an order & have a great experience with great people.

The reason for these stars is, I went to pick up pizza entered the store to 3 employees no one said a word. I proceeded to the counter and stood there for 10 min until they asked me of I was ok. I heard about edibles being taken and trying to leave work conversations all while one guy was getting dough prepped and one was assembling pizzas. In the midst of my waiting another employee entered Papa Johns looked right at me, smiled and walked away. I had to wait 15 min total including the wait for the acknowledgment. Will not return to this location

I had a pickup order, but noticed it was wrong once I was at home. I called up and they ended up delivering my correct pizza order to me, while also throwing in some breadsticks. Give the pan pizza a try. Thanks JJ!

Seriously, such bad service. A horrible and unpleasant pizza. I know you want to go home, but don’t hire staff who don’t want to do their jobs properly. It was my favorite store, but not anymore. What a disaster.
