I ordered a LG pizza online applied the 50% coupon, (regular price is $22.99, so that brought my amount to $11.50). When I walked up to pick up my prepaid order (on Wednesday), there was a huge clearly posted sign on the store window. Wacky Wednesday 1 LG pizza $9.99. That means I overpaid for MY pizza (If I knew of this special, I would have selected it from the app). I requested that they fix my $ amt, and refund my money since this special was not online. They said pizza is pre-paid. Which I said.. I know. They said it would make their register weird, and they were not refunding me.
I have worked customer service before… I know a manager can make a price adjustment on an order. It might be a hassle, but they can do it. Dude just kept pushing back, and insisted he would not make things right.
I told him that’s horrible customer service, and he shrugged. I said I’m not okay with that, and won’t be returning. He said.. Eh.. Good Luck with that.
I will be contacting corporate. This is unacceptable. It’s the principal of the thing.
This is going right in the trash can.
Make sure when ordering, you make sure the cook can read.
15MAR24 – (pic2) ordered a pizza with no cheese and original crust. Received stuffed crust.
You can’t make up the level of incompetence here.
The location, traffic dependent, is 30 seconds to 1 minute away from my house. I still use delivery because, well, convenience. I ordered tonight and then just waited, watched the tracker show the driver pass my neighborhood. 30 minutes later I get a text from door dash saying it would be at least another 10-15 minutes. I did not know they were delivering through door dash, as they have always had their own drivers. If I would have known this, I would have never placed an order for deliver; as I despise door dash.
So, I called the store and cancelled my order, which overall, was easy enough. However, 20 minutes later the food still showed up, not hot, and the extra sauces had tin foil covering them, instead of lids.
So, now I am waiting to see if they charge me again. I am not eating the food, and will take the whole order back there if they do.
I will never order from here again, which is sad, because we have ordered A LOT of food from there over the years.
