Pizza was really good and the carry out time was sufficient enough for me. From the order time, it took about 20 mins to complete it. Apparently no pickup inside after dark from the other reviews but they did not mention this to me or stop me from going inside. They were helpful at the front counter and grabbed me an extra garlic butter. We got the “Grand Papa” and recommend if you like thinner crust. Would get again.

Pizza has been ready since 8:30. They lock the doors at dark. Been sitting in the drive through line with. For 25 minutes so far. At this point is the pizza gonna even be hot by the time the three cars in front of us gets theirs.

Food was a joke!!! Ordered 2 pizza bowls and there was hardly nothing in the boxes. Also ordered wings and they got that wrong!!! Delivery driver was great though.

That was one of the worst pizza’s I’ve ever eaten, under cooked, asked for double meat and received standard which was piled in the middle , and covered with tons of cheese I never asked for. We are Done! with PaPa John’s. There’s way to many other pizza establishments we can visit.

This is tough! The food was very good, once I got it. I placed my order online at 5:04 to be prepared asap, I left Papa John’s at approximately 6:10. There was no leadership there tonight, there may have been a manager there but she was lacking in the leadership department.
Things to note in the pictures I’ve shared. The “managers” drink was kept on the counter and didn’t have a lid. This is a DHEC violation. She was working at the front of the line and at one point had to issue a refund to a guest (Sonya @ 6:05ish) and didn’t wash her hands and went right back to work. This is a DHEC violation!
The young brunette girl has long fingernails and they appeared to be painted. She was working the line in the kitchen. These are DHEC violations!
Taller woman with red and black hair came in the back door and placed her phone and keys on the shelf above the cutting/boxing station and began working without washing her hands. She also handled her nasty phone and resumed working without ever washing her hands. This is a DHEC violation.
The sad part is the manager in charge is required to be ServSafe certified in South Carolina so I’m sure someone there knew better but didn’t care enough to enforce it.
Not once did the manager show and customer service skills, she wasn’t apologetic or empathetic at all. However, the young man with glasses and black hat on seemed like he was the only one that knew what was going on and the lady running the registers was super frazzled but she was at least apologetic to a lot of the customers.
Restructuring needs to start from the top down.

They were very busy & we waited a bit to be acknowledged. My cheese sticks had a lot of bubbles & very little cheese but they remade it for us we just had to wait.

Placed a pick up order for a large Italian pizza. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Not too greasy, fluffy crust, good flavor. Def check out their website for coupons before ordering because I got $4 off for a speciality pizza!

Do not order here. I can’t believe another Local Guide actually gave this place five stars. This place is literally trying to go out of business. It’s drive thru only after it gets dark outside, so you are forced to either use their delivery service or get cold pizza guaranteed because no one can get in to pick it up; neither you nor Doordash can get any of the stacks of pizzas getting colder by the second you can see in the window. All the other pizza places in town offer multiple ways to get your pizza including walking in all night. Order from one of these.
3/13/24 – back again after I wrote this review only to find it yet another ridiculous line. I have been sitting here now for 15 minutes and it has not moved at all. Pizzas are ready and waiting and nobody can get to them. This is insane. Another photo added. They are almost out on to reidville road right now causing traffic issues. I kid you not one of the dudes that’s supposed to be making pizzas right now is standing there eating the pizza. Not a glove to be found amongst anybody either. I used to work for Papa John’s and know better than this. I’m done at this point and calling corporate tomorrow.
7/31/24 – Waited as long as possible to avoid coming here. As expected, this place is absolutely just as horrible as it always has been. They CANNOT figure out how to manage their people. Either have too many people to stickers, making pizzas, standing at expo, or some combination. Awful. Avoid at all costs.

I want to give a warm, exciting kudos to Jena at the store in Hillcrest on East Main. She was a delight to talk to while waiting on the completion of my order. It’s great customer service like Jena’s that we truly appreciate. She made my day! Keep up the great work and positive, “can do” attitude!!

I waited an hour for my food, when it got here the driver was polite but I had specifically asked for no peppers in the box making it very clear I don’t want one at all yet I still received it, I also asked for light sauce and they drenched it and burned it, no big deal. But it also had hair on it. I tried to call the store the minute I opened it and saw it but the phones didn’t even ring.
