Papa Johns Pizza Delivery & Carryout – Best Deals on Pizza, Sides …

We order our special needs child two particular pizzas a few times a week because this is the only thing they will eat essentially and only from Papa John’s company. We can’t use EBT and we also tip as well, we can’t go pick it up either, so its delivered.
We call everytime to let them know not to put these items in the box and we have explained why as well. Sometimes we get someone that knows and will tell us before we ask and still sometimes pizzas come with these items in the box, like it did this evening. They are remaking and delivering the pizzas, but honestly I am a little fearful if someone will do something to it out of spite due to the attitude we get from some of the people that work there. We are sending the other two back, although they will throw them away, but want to prove that its not for free pizza but for legitimate reasons. Not once have they offered anything else, coupons or anything for the inconvenience and the longer wait my child has to go through to eat. They don’t really seem to care that this happened or that its not a big deal.
See the juice from the pepperoncinis gets onto the pizzas, they leave big stains in the box too. Then sometimes the garlic sauces get busted inside the box and they leak all over the pizza too. My child will not and cannot eat it like this. One time my child did try and it burned their tongue for hours and made their entire mouth itchy and luckily we had allergy meds and luckily it was one small bite, but we stressed this to this location on multiple occasions and the management.
Might just say, just order from another location, we’ll really there isn’t another location to order from that is close, its in another city and we shouldn’t have to try and find another location because we would have to tip more because its further just so someone will deliver it, plus we are already spending anywhere from $50-78 a week here, sometimes more, so really can’t afford to pay more.
I gave it 3 stars because it is an important lifeline for my child and sometimes they do get it right and send it correctly and because there is one person that works there that knows this so they do remember it, which is a plus.
We get mistakes happen, but the same mistake doesn’t happen repeatedly or its not suppose to. Allergies can be deadly for some people especially a child.
I have contacted corporate Papa John’s asking them for assistance and they have failed to respond to my email or even call me back, which is sad. We give Papa John’s good, consistent business and we should be valued especially our health and safety.
Another plus, the pizza is usually good. I say usually because sometimes when you try to order a larger size other than large they don’t put enough sauce on it and it doesn’t taste the same for my child. We stick to the one size. Its fresh and arrives in a timely manner, unless its being redelivered due to this mistake of course.
The company should either put these items in a separate container so people that do like them and aren’t allergic etc , can have them while keeping the pizza safe for others in the same household OR allow customers to request them to be put in separate containers or request to not have them at all, when they place an order online.
I decided to try the Shaqaroni and ordered it on the app . Unlike Little Caesars they didn’t let me know if was ready so I wasn’t sure if it would be ready on time or not .
When I arrived I was warmly greeted when I entered the store , quickly waited on and was out the door in under 2 minutes .
The pizza was very good though slightly under cooked . I had ordered it extra done and it was still just under fully cooked . There were plenty of toppings , the crust had a good flavor and I felt like I got a lot for my money .
This experience has renewed my faith in this pizza chain and it won’t be so many years before I order from here again .
Every time I order from this store something ALWAYS goes wrong.
3 / 3 times I’ve ordered delivery, that have delivered it to the wrong house. And of course, that house keeps my order. So my family is still left waiting another 45+ minutes, PAST what we had already been waiting, for them to have to now have to remake my entire order and then send it back out for delivery, AGAIN.
and tonight they did one even better than usual… When my order FINALLY arrived… Surprise! It was WRONG!
I could see the pizza was baked quick but tracking stuck at Preparing till timeline is up. Got a text that it’s taking longer. But it’s been 1hr 30 mins already waiting. I guess they did not have drivers around.
I ended up calling them and cancel the order, can’t wait to receive a cold pizza.
If y’all don’t have drivers, do not accept orders.
