I placed an online order today 02/27/26 around 3:30pm for a pick up at 6pm. When I got there around 5:55pm, they didn’t even start preparing the order. I had a simple order for two large pizzas. Generally, I wouldn’t have cared but my family and I were fasting and needed the food to break our fast. They never apologized or anything. They don’t even acknowledge you when you walk in. There were at least 7-8 people working there. Very disappointed in the service!

This Papa John’s (4814 Dale Blvd, Dale City, VA 22193) has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I called because my order was wrong, and instead of trying to help, the employees were rude, dismissive, and passive-aggressive. When I asked for a manager, I was transferred to the general manager, Alison, who was even worse. She was rude, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to fix their mistake. I paid for a more expensive pizza and was given a cheaper one, yet they refused to take responsibility or make it right. The lack of accountability and disrespect from both the staff and management at this location is unacceptable. I’ve been a frequent customer, but after this experience, I’ll never order from here again and will be contacting corporate about how badly this was handled.

I’m not usually one to write reviews but after this particular Papa Johns delivered banger, after banger after banger of an experience, I feel like I owe it to them. I would have never expected my local PJ’s of all places to treat me like a VIP customer. The pizza is always delivered piping hot, cheesed to the nines, cooked to perfection with the drinks ice cold. The one time my Pepsi was not delivered I didn’t bother saying anything because I was used to such occurrences from Dominos and Little Caesar’s, it was no big deal. But my next order I was given an extra Pepsi and tons of free sauce. This experience converted me. I was told that the special treatment I received tonight was simply because I “left a good tip.” That makes me a little sad because if the generally expected and recommended tip of 20% that I gave was considered a good tip, most customers are giving much less or god forbid no tip at all. In this economy?! My Papa Johns does not deserve this and I will not stand for it. If I as a poor person can give 20%, so can you. Today I am emotional about pizza, because this experience made my whole bad week a little better. Thanks y’all.

. When I first walked in, one of the workers there looked at me, and announced me as if he knew who I was and laughed. That definitely makes someone feel like you did something to their food. I quickly got a refund and left, because why would you announce me so everyone else knew I was there, when all you knew was my name, and I’ve never been to this location before. If you get a stomach ache, now you know why. I will definitely be reaching out to corporate.

My family has been using this location for months! The pizza and service has always been amazing! Actually getting better with time! Today was a particularly amazing experience! Clyde was our delivery driver. He came up, was very careful with the pizzas (piping hot pizzas and so fresh!). He wished us a Merry Christmas, asked how our Christmas was, and we exchanged Christmas stories! The best delivery experience I have had jn my life! He closed it by thanking us for being long time Papa John’s customers and told us how much they appreciate it!! The experience was like… wow!! Really cool guy and made us feel special! If you have a chance, I recommend asking for Clyde by name!

Following not ever recieving a delivery from paisanos after waiting 2 hours, i decided to get pizza here instead. Well, nearly 3 hours after initially ordering pizza in the first place, i am now left with pizza thats nearly burned to a crisp. Looks burnt, tastes burnt. Maybe it’s just my bad luck. im disappointed because I thought Papa John’s wouldn’t fail me after I’d just been failed by the competition. Smh.
