Service is below minimum. These younger generations know nothing about customer service or simply how to be kind.
Called because my son’s food came with cheese and he has a cheese allergy. Was told nothing they could do thats how it comes. Explained we ordered it cheeseless for a reason. Asked to speak to a manager was told he was the manager. He then told me to just come get my money back if i wasnt happy. What about my son eating? Then he says well i guess we can remake it but you have to pick it up. Mean while i ordered delivery.
He then said he would send the driver with my refund. He called back not even ten minutes later and said his manager said they couldn’t bring my money. Wait i thought you were the manager sir… on top of that the food is below average. Wings are super tiny, and the food seemed like it was old. No cheese pull room temperature. Store is 7 minutes from my house. Juat moved to this area and im noticing a pattern with these fast food spots and their service and it sucks.

I decided to order myself Papa John’s today since I was working across the street. I placed the order to pickup and it was ready ahead of time. I ended up being taken care of by the General Manager Zach and he was very friendly. I come to Allentown often and stay at a hotel across from Dorney Park and have tried to get delivery online, but was never able to. I told Zach about this and he said in the future to just call and he would take care of the delivery. Now to the important part of this review. I have to give this location . Besides the great and friendly service, the pizza was delicious and the sauce had a great tangy taste and a great kick to it with the toppings. I got a Large with pepperoni & Italian sausage to it. If you love, or even like a bit a spiciness to your meal, this is it. I have to highly recommend this location when in the area. If you can’t order online, give them a call, so you don’t miss out on their great pizza,

ALL I HAD ORIGINALLY WAS A QUESTION ABOUT A PROMO CODE FOR AN ONLINE ORDER. It wasn’t working, so I called and quickly explained why I was calling. Jon first explained they are not responsible for what corporate does, or what happens on the Internet. I said that I just wanted to know if I was in error or what, but Jon just continued to get my information. I literally explained 3 times that he could not find my order as I never put it in because of the promo code. It took 5 times for him to get my 2 large 2-topping pizza order straight. When I asked if he would honor the promo code coupon, he began stammering. I asked for the manager, Jon refused twice because he was busy. I had to insist. I was put on hold. Jon comes back on to take my order. I asked for the manager. Jon said he’s busy. I had to order Jon to get the manager.
Zack picks up as manager. I say: “Jon’s a real piece of work.” Zack retorts: “We are a equal opportunity employer.” I’m forced to silence for a second, but then I briefly explain about the code. Zack explains his store is not a part of that. I ask who is (I am doing an online order…who care if he can’t). He had no answer, but asked what it was for. I explain it was for a large 2 topping carry-out, the code being LG2TCO. He graciously says he can do something if it’s carry-out. I said it always was for carry-out. He then reads back an order for a large cheese pizza. I interrupted to say no, and the what the two toppings were. He said OK and began reading back. I stopped him and said I actually wanted to order 2 pizzas (keep in mind this took 10 minutes with Jon to get the same order). Zack reads back the two topping and a cheese pizza. I stopped him and forced him to listen to me. I was going to do the promo and a special on another two topping pizza. I managed to get that order in again…again. He reads it back and I’m talking to him after. He hangs up on me.
I go and confront Zack about hanging up on me. He says he didn’t. I said I was going to ask what he meant by equal opportunity employer comment. Zack then proceeds to uplift himself with putting Jon on the phones to take orders given some mysterious condition or issue Jon has. He further attempts to make me out as the bad guy as I was rude to Jon somehow, especially given his condition (?). I retort that I could barely ask a question, get an order in, to which they could barely get it right, mainly due to my patience that they exhausted at every opportunity on top of a guilt complex Zack uses to explain his incompetence and as a shield to make him look so good. ZACH SHOWS ME MY PIZZAS, LOOKS AT ME, AND THEN THROWS THEM IN THE TRASH.
Zack must think he’s Pope Papa John I as he’s holier than me for hiring supposed disabled people to take orders on the phone, not really address what I had to go through just to get 2 pizzas, and then never get them because he would rather be spiteful. This is Zack’s customer service skills. The picture is him (in blue) walking away after trashing the pizzas. Zack is a total loser, especially where service is considered. He then yells at me about going somewhere else. Keep in mind, I just wanted to know where the code would work…and then go there. This was Zack being helpful.

I ordered an epic stuffed crust pepperoni pizza! I got 2 pepperoni inside each slice of crust instead of pepperoni topping and the cheese in the stuff crust was chewy way too much cheese it was also doughy and did not taste good. The plain cheese was better. Feel ripped off. Costco makes better pizza

On 10/26/2023 I ordered from this location. Now The gentleman making the food was great . smiled , made my order was quick and clean about it. The lady /cashier was on her phone the entire time I was there was TOUCHING The FOOD with her BARE HANDS and DID NOT SANITIZE OR WASH HER HANDS the entire time , She Handled Cash then touched food. The Icing on the cake she Kept sitting on the Boxes that are used to box up the pizza and sides!! How Disgusting is this! And she is sitting on the Part that the Food Touches.! DO BETTER PAPA JOHNS and School your employees on being sanitary ! She didn’t even care that we could see her!

We ordered for delivery, they said it was preparing for 2 hours then when the delivery person went to go pick it up he saw it’s closed like pinch black in the store. He called us and told us about the situation. NEVER ORDER FROM THERE. THE STORE’S COMMUNICATION AND DELIVERY IS HORRIBLE.

We ordered food from Uber Eats and they accepted our order as well and when my delivery person tried to pick up, the store was pitched black and no one picked it up. We waited 2 hours for absolute nothing.

Ordered 2 pizzas on the special BOGO. 1 was extra cheese, the other pepperoni. The deliver time was great. 25 mins. My complaint is I am a first time customer and I was not happy with either pizza. There was no extra cheese. The pizza was well done, so that the cheese was already set and they were very dry.
Went this afternoon to try to resolve the problem and the guy told me all he could offer was a free pizza. I don’t want anymore papa johns pizza. I asked if he would meet me halfway and refund half of my money. He flatly refused and said he couldn’t do that.
