This is concerning the Papa John’s that opened in Meadville, PA, recently. The employees/ managers went out to different businesses and offered coupons for “a free large 1-topping pizza” if they gave them food/merchandise from that specific store. When trying to redeem my coupon, the employees there had little to no idea what they were doing. Turns out, all of the coupons they gave out expired in 2023. Yall giving 2 year expired coupons to people who gave you their business in return for that? Very unprofessional.

The staff was nice, but the pizza is by far the worst pizza in town. The crust is dry and tasteless, with very little sauce, and the toppings and cheese are very thin. This is flavorless, “corporate” pizza. You’re way better off getting excellent local pizza at Smokey Martins or Bella Bella Mozzarella.

First off, i know this is just another chain pizza joint so ill bear that in mind when i write this although i did have higher expectations. For starters, when i called in to order, i didnt expect to be talking to a person that sounded like i was talking to a hotline with a script .. Granted, the lady was super nice but you kind of expect to talk to an employee at the store but no big deal. Secondly, when i arrived at the store, there was a line but it moved quickly. When my turn came to pay i felt like i was being pushed right on out of the store. Then came the food itself….I ordered a large pepperoni and the works with the epic garlic crust and an order of bread sticks. Upon arriving home and getting everything ready for everyone to eat, I opened the boxes and was honestly overwhelmed with absolute disappointment.. the pizzas had little to no cheese and the bread sticks just looked absolutely horrible. They literally looked like they were pulled out of a box in a freezer and just thrown into an oven and carelessly thrown into the box… Then came the taste (or lack thereof). Nothing had any flavor whatsoever like nothing!!! Also tried the garlic trio sauces and the garlic butter included with the pizzas and made almost little to no difference to the taste of the pizza. The only sauce worth a damn was the hot honey garlic and that was subpar at best. And to top this all off was the price… Even with 15% off for two pizzas and breadsticks was 46 dollars!!!! Ive spent 3/4 of that at other pizza places and have gotten much better quality.. with all that being said, spend that kind of money at your local pizza shops and treat yourself to something wayyy better!

Have no clue what the 1 star reviews are talking about, but I’ve ordered Papa John’s a few times since this location opened and I have not been dissatisfied. Every time was a positive experience. Pizza was piping hot and delicious.

The team behind the glass is really hard working and you can see every step of the pizza’s creation, which is really cool. I got the BBQ chicken papadia and it was soooo delicious. Im definitely adding this place to my delivery repitoire.

So tonight in Meadville pa I waited over an hour for my pizza kept being told 10 more mins. Well after an hour later I get the pizza bring it home I live 2mins down the road. My pizza was so dry and almost burnt it was very disappointing. After tonight I don’t think I’ll ever be back there!

I ordered a medium pizza, though theres no way its a medium.. smallest pizza ive ever seen out of a papa johns.. the girl behind while making the pizza, had a phone in her hand while in the middle of doing it… grossed me out, tbh… didnt wash her hands nor had gloves on… a cell phone can be one of the most dirty things someone touches, especially while working with food…. no thanks…
