If I could rate zero stars I would. Ordered a gluten free pie, when I arrived for pick up, I was not greeted and when I was asked my order the worker walked over with a box full of cheese on the side and bottom. I opened my box and saw the cheese was all over the cardboard and pizza was not aligned. I asked for a new pie and was told “it’s fine the way it is, it’s just cheese”. Called customer service 5x prior to someone contacting me to resolve the issue in a refund.

The store at 52 Lincoln hwy at Edison is really bad. 1.5 hours delay and gave half baked pizza. Seems like one family is running the store who dont know the basic management.

Our family had an extremely disappointing experience with this Papa John’s location on Sunday, October 19th. My father placed a prepaid delivery order by phone through the Edison branch for a family gathering of over 20 people at the MLK Cricket Ground. Since the park was within the South Plainfield delivery zone, the order was transferred to that store.
The delivery driver called my father once, but when he returned the call just minutes later, the driver claimed to have already taken the order back and refused to return—despite several people being present at the park. When my father later contacted the stores, both the Edison and South Plainfield staff were rude and unhelpful. Individuals identifying themselves as “Rupender” and “Vikas” claimed to be managers, but corporate later confirmed that no such manager named Vikas works at the South Plainfield location.
Both men refused to issue a refund, hung up multiple times, and handled the situation with complete disrespect. It’s unacceptable for a well-known company like Papa John’s to allow such unprofessional and dishonest behavior. My father deserves both a full refund and a sincere apology for the poor service and treatment he received.

Horrible experience and worst service. First of all the guy at counter gave me USED and DIRTY PLATES. Once I reach home I was horrified seeing all food all over the used plates(see the photos). I placed order forEpic Stuffed Special pizza and got experienced worst pizza in my life. I didn’t receive my pizza as per my order. This pizza no way epic nor special. Plz never order from here and see the attached photos.

I ordered a pizza and I was on my way, just 12 minutes way. I get a call from them and demanding me of my card number saying that was the only way to pay. When I asked to pay in person instead, he denied me saying we don’t open the doors an hour before closing. I felt like I was being scammed . Then out of nowhere he told us to get here in five minutes, but we were 12 minutes away. I asked if I could pay online and he still said no insisting for my card info. We literally didn’t get the pizza because we felt unsafe giving our card info to some random stranger. I feel like they really should be a zero star review for this. Find a different branch.

I have ordered from here few times, taste wise I had no issues so far. But I am concerned about hygiene. I went tonight for my pickup, it was summer time, air conditioning doesn’t work inside, workers are sweating, no gloves, head cover etc, which I found pretty gross. I think the corporate should read the user comments and act accordingly. I am sure the owners are aware of these situations and reluctant to take any responsibility or action.

I ordered two chocolate chip cookies over the phone after seeing the price listed as $6.99 each on their website. When I arrived, they tried to charge me $9 each. I showed them the price on their website, but they refused to honor it. On top of that, the staff had a very bad attitude. Extremely disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism. I give them one star.
