This the second time my husband and I went there to have our dinner ️. The atmosphere is perfect, our food was delicious. I had the large Greek Salad with the lamb giro meat with cucumbers, feta cheese, tomatoes, green peppers , Greek olives, and a yellow pepper , and pita bread, topped off with ranch dressing. My husband as you see had the giro meal with two whole pita breads, lots of lamb meat, chopped, tomatoes, onions and their famous sour cream dip.We got so full we had to take the rest of our dinners home. Cloe our waitress she is friendly always smiling asked us how is our food and asked us if we need anything else. We will continue to go there again

First of all, I’m not the guy who writes reviews; however, I had such a positive first experience at Papa Gyros that I thought I would share it. I’ve lived in the Canton area for most of my life (I’m 61 years old). Tonight was the first time that I ate at Papa Gyros. I started out by ordering chicken wings as an appetizer. I figured that if I didn’t like my meal, I would at least like my appetizer. The chicken wings, which seemed larger than chicken wings that you get at most bar/restaurants, were brought out with my Greek salad. Both were very good. For the main course, I ordered the lamp chops and rice. The lamp chops were the bomb!!! I liked them as well as any steak that I have ever eaten. The rice was excellent as well. I don’t know how to describe it, but the rice was much better than rice that you would be served at any Chinese or Mexican restaurant. After I finished my meal, I went to the men’s restroom to wash my hands. The restroom was very clean. Finally, Chloe was my server. She was very pleasant and courteous, and she always seemed to stop by my table just at the right time. Overall, I would rate my first experience at Papa Gyros as 5 stars out of 5 stars. I will definitely be coming back.

Good spot for tasty Greek dishes.

Anything on the menu is worth a try. The soups are good, the Greek salad is fresh and the meats are prepared well.

Some dishes to try are the lamb souvlaki, Greek salad with feta and gyro meat, the grilled salmon… so many good options and the rice is very tasty.

My husband had lamb shank and said it was very delicious. I had the chicken pita. The tzatziki sauce was the best I’ve had, by far. Had the flaming cheese for an appetizer, amazing! Very good restaurant, we will be back.

This is a reliable restaurant with lots of good Greek food options. I personally love falafel, and they deliver on providing several falafel options (including all their other options, as well). The staff is friendly and they’re typically fast to provide service. On top of all the meal options, they also have a large dessert selection. They have an option to order online via their website if you’re on the go – just make sure you pick the correct address/location for pickup.

June 2024 – Not so good of an experience, but it may have been our choice of dishes. We got several skewers of different meats and found the lamb and chicken both overcooked and tough. A separate lamb dish and a separate chicken dish also suffered the same fate. Prices have gone up quite a bit as well (that’s expected). And, unfortunately, our waitress was not of the same caliber. Oh well….

Had a great experience here. It being a holiday, most places were closed. We found the place open and tried it. Not a long line meant we were seated right away. Our waitress came over right away abd she was a hoot.

Between the Saganaki Opa, the Gyro, the Retsina, and the baklavas, we rolled out stuffed, but only $40 lighter in the wallet. Amazing.

All the food tasted good but there was not enough tzatziki sauce on the gyro. This is the only negative comment i could make.

The best gyro that I’ve had since I moved to Ohio! I was a little puzzled on the portion of the “basket of fries” yet the sandwich made up for it! Sandra was a great, knowledgeable server!

I’ve been dining here for years. Was always happy until 1/6/2026. The tzatziki was awful! I realize these days the Greek yogurt is mixed with some sour cream, instead of the traditional just yogurt, but this was nothing but sour cream and chives like you would put on a baked potato! No cucumber flavor at all! My salad had old wilted lettuce and the gyro meat was dry as if it had been sitting out for awhile. So disappointed. Regrettably will not be dining there again.
