Brisket and pulled pork sandwich with a side. Mac & cheese was really good. Potato salad was egg heavy. We’ll be back to try out more items on the menu, but good flavor and Texas style BBQ with a house smoky BBQ and mustard based sauce on the tables. Very limited seating indoors.

I’m not going to be able to stress this enough the best bbq food i have ever had. All the meat are melt in your mouth. So good and so much flavor. Mac n cheese fire and cornbread is my far the best i have ever have had and i have a huge love for cornbread. Please if you live around here or are visiting try it out. You will not be disappointed one bit. Not to mention the nicest staff we have ever found. God bless this place.

The drive from Globe is always worth it. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a brisket baked potato and everything was packed with flavor and smoked just right.

Quite literally 10/10. I have eaten a lot of BBQ in my days and when I say this place is the best, I mean it. My mom got the brisket which is phenomenal – perfectly seasoned, lots of juicy flavor. I got the ribs – meaty, smoked (not liquid smoke), and flavorful. Highly recommend both! It’s dangerous how close I am to here. The blonde lady at the front was amazing and so very nice! Environment is super clean & it smells amazing in the restaurant.

Delicious! I had to try this place because everyone says it’s better than Caldwell’s. The brisket and Turkey were about the same at both places-both amazing. The pulled pork, I’ve gotta give to Papa Bears. Smoked sausage goes to Caldwell’s. Best side dishes, hands down, goes to Papa Bears. This was the biggest difference between the two places. Papa’s sides have more flavor and better choices.

We broke down in the perfect spot. Papa Bears is a hidden gem right off of Apache Trail/Valley Dr. This BBQ is delicious! We had the brisket, cheddar & jalapeno sausage and pulled pork with potato salad and Mac & Cheese. Everything was delicious! I’m super picky about my Mac and cheese, hands down the best Mac and cheese at any restaurant I’ve ever had. I got my BBQ sauce on the side and the meat alone was delicious. The staff toasted my bread for me when I asked and they came to check on us during our meal. The place is small but has cute decor and everything was incredibly clean. A+ Food A+ People We will be back again soon, for sure!
Edit to Add: We keep coming back now that we live in the area. Always delicious! I suggest getting there early as they do generally tend to run out of food. I always see that as a positive. If they are busy then they will stay in business and stick around. Win, win! Thanks Papa Bears for the great BBQ and always friendly service!

This is the best BBQ my husband and I have ever had, hands down. The owner and his staff were so incredibly nice and created such a welcoming atmosphere. They were personable and made sure we were satisfied with our food selection. We HIGHLY recommend checking it out. We will definitely be back – 100%>

This gets 5 stars, I wish I could give it 11. #1 the food is fantastic for a good price you get a lot of food and it melts in your mouth. #2 the service is A+ we took up a lot of space with 15 people and the staff was very nice, appreciative and made us feel welcome. #3 I can’t think of anything bad at all. #4 they owner went out of his way to set up extra seating outside for patrons. #5 we will come back here soon.

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Apache Junction to discuss a vacant space with a building owner, and guess what? I walked away with not one, but four exciting listings!
On my way back to the office, my stomach started to rumble, so I decided to treat myself at Papa Bear’s.
I ordered their delicious brisket plate with fries and coleslaw, and let me tell you, the brisket was incredibly tender, moist, and absolutely mouthwatering! I couldn’t resist asking the cashier for some spicy BBQ sauce.
That spicy BBQ sauce is a delightful surprise! At first, it seems mild, but then it sneaks up on you with a fun little kick!
I absolutely love this place and can’t wait to return when I visit my new listings for videos and pictures. It’s always a joy to discover such fantastic spots!
