A very good restaurant!!! The food was really good. It took some time for the food to be served (it’s a family restaurant after all) but when it was served my and my family were shocked at the size of the three dishes we ordered. For example, the burrito was as big as the plate. No kidding! I don’t mean this in a negative way, of course. As our server said, “You don’t leave Papa Bear’s without being full.” Speaking about the server, she was great! Very welcoming and talkative. Came around every few minutes to see whether anything was wrong. As for the ambience, the place was very friendly and warm. There’s some pictures attached. Not too over-the-top fancy, but not too plain either. The only small suggestion I have – maybe expand the ingredients? Of the omelet, burrito, and hash brown that me and my family ordered they all consisted of mostly hash browns – yes, hash browns even in the burrito – cheese, flour, etc. Overall really nice.

My 1st visit along with 3 others. 2 ordered chocolate milk..took a drink..it was.”spoiled” received an apology “oh sorry it was expired” they removed the 2 glasses and actually placed them BACK in the cooler..3 of us ordered the meat hash browns which was an great amount of food..we all enjoyed it…until there was a long strand of HAIR in one of the orders..”we pulled it completely out in front of our server”. As I went to pay they did remove the one order of the “hairy” hashbrowns..and the 2 glasses of soiled chocolate milk. My final bill was $50. No complaints its my responsibility to pay but I expressed to the cashier it was NOT an good experience whatsoever. First and FINAL visit. Im just hoping they dont try to attempt to serve the chocolate milk to other customers today since they couldn’t “dump” it out. Shaking my head as I write. Disgusting.

This is such a wonderful family owned & operated breakfast restaurant. We always feel welcome when we visit & the food is exceptional. Robin is a phenomenal chef. The food is always made to order, hot & fresh. I definitely feel we are getting our money’s worth when we leave with full bellies that didn’t break the bank. I realize there are other breakfast restaurants in the area, but I just can not drive past Papa Bears. The food, service & prices are unbeatable. Thank you, Robin & family!!

Seriously this place is spot on for takeout. I can’t wait for Covid shut down to be over and check it out. We ordered the grizzly. It’s this heavenly hash browns with cheese, sausage, ham, light green peppers and sour cream. For $20 it fed 5 people and there was about 1/4 of it left. It’s so big they had to put it in two to-go cases. The potato were cooked all the way and I appreciate that there was just a few peppers so not to overwhelm. And there was no skimping on other toppings. I still can’t believe how much sour cream. It was not over the top but definitely not skimping. We also got biscuits and gravy. They were fantastic lots of gravy and fluffy biscuits. Honestly it was hard to decide what to keep eating.

The first time you go, you will be astonished by the size of the plates. I’m able to feed my family and have left overs with the car size stuffed hash brown. Staff is always friendly!

When you first walk in, you get hit with a smell of sewage or something rotten. The service was so so and the food I got biscuits and gravy and corned beef hash and you can tell everything came from a can. Nothing was homemade. I wouldn’t recommend it
