Friday night Fish Fry, no host or hostess or anyone working to identify guests for seating. Several staff working at a pool table to fix to go food, but we stood around looking to ask and finally just found someone and they said we would be put on a wait list which was fine. Our table of 4 was seated and drinks ordered, good cocktails. The atmosphere was so loud we had to talk super loud to hear each other. After drinks we waited for almost a half hour and then I got up and asked the bartender if someone could take our order. Fish fry was good, service was awful, atmoshphere not conducive to enjoy eating.

One of the better if not best “simple” burgers in the area. Coupled up with the typical wisconsin small town bar atmosphere this is one of our go to’s for a weekend lunch and a bloody Mary. Place is cozy and has a lot of outdoor seating and very close to Verona!

This is the single worst managed bar that I have been to in these United States. Granted it was Good Friday in Wisconsin, but there has to be some sort of an awareness of the required staffing to accommodate a rush. We divided and conquered to wait at two spots at the bar for 25 minutes for a poorly made cocktail, and ended up waiting ninety minutes for a lackluster fish fry. I can name ten better fish fry’s in a fifteen mile radius, and it’s not worth the crowd, poor service, and surly staff. Also, there is a clear preference for locals, so if you’re driving through, choose somewhere else. Avoid at all cost in any sort of crowded conditions.
