Just had the loveliest afternoon tea at Panorama in the St. Louis Art Museum with my aunt, and honestly, 10/10 recommend. The day was beautiful, the tea was hot (as it should be), and the snacks? Plentiful. Mini lobster rolls were involved. What more could a girl want? Omg #stlouispescatarianapproved

It’s a great excuse to spend some time at our criminally underrated art museum. Seriously, if you haven’t been in a while, go. And while you’re there, support Panorama because an on-site restaurant this good deserves some love.

I have tried this place twice now. Early in March 2025 for a lunch with my boss and the service was not great. Our server was very inattentive and focused on the tables with the old white crowd. I was confused because we ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees yet did not receive the service of “fine” dining.

Today, I gave this place a second chance because the food was good and did not want to eat at the cafe. The server was nice but was severely lacking in attentiveness. The food is good however I would not consider this a fine dining restaurant as they advertise due to the lack of good service. I don’t mean to sound like a Karen however I think if you’re advertising and pricing some items at the fine dining level the expectation of good service is a fair expectation to have.

I had a 3-course meal today starting with the Camembert appetizer, then the beef sirloin and the strawberry tartin for dessert, together with a glass of red wine. Everything was exquisite, my waiter Todd was extremely nice and delightful, and the atmosphere was perfect, with vibrant music to go along. I would definetely recommend to have an incredible lunch or brunch with an amazing view, topped with a visit to the museum

Was my son’s pick for lunch while in Forest Park, and Panorama did not disappoint! I enjoyed the wedge salad, my picky husband made over how excellent his burger was, and my child actually complimented his food, too. I highly recommend this restaurant for the surprisingly delicious food, elegant-turned-casual ambiance, and prompt but not overbearing service. Oh, and the Bloody Mary hit the spot! We’ll be back—and soon!

The best thing about Panorama is that you can drop in after touring the museum for a coffee or lunch; the huge glass windows provide excellent views of the park. 10% discount for members. It’s improved since covid.

Conveniently located at the eaat entrance of SLAM. My friends & I made reservations with enough time to explore the amazing Kehinde Wiley & Graphic Revolution exhibits today.

Brandy was an ok server; nothing to complain about nor write home. It was pretty straight to the point (order, deliver, check).

We all drink lol…so Chardonnay & Rosé domed the table. I opted for the Grilled Eggplant entree. A lovely tower of perfectly grilled thick sliced eggplant, forest mushrooms, quinoa, sweet red peppers, goat cheese & basil mint oil. It was delicious. My dining companions ordered the Quiche of the day & Ceasar salad. Both were pleased with presentation & taste.

The dining room is spacious, open & offers a wonderful view overlooking Forest Park’s Art Hill. Fresh roses, heavy silverware & linen napkins were the place setting. Coat check, hostess stand, covered parking are available for those wondering.
