I heard a tale that the focaccia recipe was tirelessly perfected for 2 years before Panino Veloce opened. Whether that’s true or not, it wouldn’t surprise me given the great care to detail that the owners have given this incredible lunch spot. The sandwiches (served on the aforementioned focaccia bread) are all delicious. I like to get a side of pasta salad + a crispy Diet Coke to drink. The service here is always fast and friendly. I highly recommend checking them out for lunch and then come back for dinner at their sister restaurant, Tarasque Cucina.

They bake their own bread every day! Their coffee is delicious! They have a beautiful alley outdoor space which is shady in our hot Mississippi summers! And most importantly, every person who walks through their door is greeted with a smile and like they matter. Whenever we have out-of-town guests, I always make sure to take them to this restaurant! Incredible sandwiches and incredible people! When I pick up sandwiches I always try and get an order of “road ruffles”. The chips are addictive and I eat them in the car on the way home. Trust me. Get yourself some road ruffles and some panino. You won’t regret it!

Owners are wonderful people and the staff is always so sweet and attentive. The food is out of this world – don’t sleep on the potato salad the focaccia bread used for the sandwiches is an excellent texture and flavorful. Great espresso and lunch spot at a reasonable price!

My wife and I went here a few weeks ago and we are an interracial couple. Everyone there kept staring at us and the service was horrible. We felt extremely unwanted and got weird vibes. Not to mention our kids were with us! Would not recommend to anyone in the area.

Took a friend from out of town, and we both agreed it was lovely. It’s a perfect lunch place right off of campus with outdoor seating. I love that they have good veggie options that are still filling. The potato salad was wonderful. You must try their mint tea also. Will be back!

Party of 7. Dined here for lunch on Sunday afternoon after the Oklahoma game meeting with friends who attended from out of town. We are from out of town as well.

Surprised at the high ratings, or maybe this is good cuisine for a college town? Orders were a mix of sandwiches, salads, and focaccia bread.
I had the Caesar salad with added chicken. Honestly, it looked and tasted like I went to Walmart and bought a bag of shredded iceberg lettuce and cut some hunks of Walmart rotisserie chicken breast, tossed in Caesar salad dressing and placed it in a paper square serving dish for a hamburger and fries.
Other parties said the sandwich was okay, but very below or average. Drinks are hot canned drinks with a glass of ice. Once you are delivered your food, don’t expect any other attention from service staff despite adding a $25 tip when ordering. Honestly, any other fast food restaurants would be better than this. I will say the focaccia bread was not bad.
Definitely not recommended. Wish we had gone anywhere else. Sincerely hope you guys improve.

The best lunch I have had in years!! Was so good I went back the next day. I could eat the potato salad every day and never get tired of it… and the bread!! Each item is so flavorful and perfectly put together that you can’t go wrong with any of them (and if you’re like me you will have a hard time deciding what to get because they’re all that good) The staff are also so kind and friendly and greet you with genuine smiles and provide amazing service! I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is and I can’t wait to go back to Oxford to get it again!!
