邊季(吐司邊邊)
offers a truly enjoyable dining experience, primarily due to its exceptional service and a couple of truly remarkable dishes. If you’re a fan of risotto or veal cutlet, I highly recommend giving them a try. However, be prepared for a slightly uneven culinary journey. It’s a restaurant where the service will make you smile, and certain dishes will leave you wanting more. It seems like the kitchen has the ability to make truly great food, and when they do, it’s wonderful. Is this restaurant worth the visit: if it is convenient for you.

Let’s start with the positive: the waiters were very nice and welcoming.

Food: meh. The millefoglie is a dish characterized by its crunchiness—not here. And when cooking from scratch, it seems as if salt is the enemy. Where was the seasoning? The picture looks lovely, but the taste? Not so much.

If you ever serve me seven candy-like pasta pieces, they better be the best I’ve ever had—or you should be Massimo Bottura. The pasta was good, but I doubt it was made in this kitchen.

We did have The Fork discount, which should have covered 40% of the à la carte menu (which we ordered from). Can someone explain how, after summing the dishes, the arbitrary low discount was calculated?

The lemon dessert had one nice part: the only thing store-bought—the ice cream.

You’d be better off eating a panzerotto at Luini than spending your money here.

Don’t trust the American reviews—this is not authentic Italian cuisine. The place is stuck in time and makes its money on alcohol and extra surcharges.

3.5. I really wanted to like it.. but unfortunately no one in our table really liked their dishes. The ice cream as dessert was good though.
The service very good, the atmosphere amazing, inside a beautiful hotel. But for that price you can get better tasting food elsewhere. Even I had a 40% off and even with a similar discount I won’t be going again.

To be honest, the service is really good and restaurant has good atmosphere but food isn’t really our taste. The dishes are well decorated but the quality is so so and not tasty. I give scores just for the service and environment.

We had an unforgettable dining experience at this authentic Italian restaurant in Milan. From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The pasta was homemade and cooked to perfection, with sauces that were rich and bursting with flavor. The octopus (pulpo) was a standout dish—perfectly tender and seasoned beautifully—and the mushroom pasta was earthy, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The deserts are creative and exotic, with rich flavors that make you explore your taste buds. Overall, a must-visit spot for anyone seeking genuine Italian cuisine in the calm side of Milan!

This was my first restaurant experience in Italy, and I’m so happy with my choice! I had a duck dish that was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was just as impressive: attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the chef is top-notch, and the whole team delivers a high-end dining experience.

That said, I did notice the prices are a bit on the higher side compared to other places I visited during my trip — most of the restaurants I dined at afterward were much more affordable. Still, this place offers more than just food; it’s an experience. If you’re looking to treat yourself, it’s well worth it!

Yesterday my husband and I chose Panevo restaurant for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant is located in Paveno hotel, this is the first time we came here and we were really impressed by the sophistication, professionalism and care of all the staf. They happened to know that we came here for the anniversary so they offered a cake and we were very surprised. About the food, everything was carefully decorated, beautiful. We really like the pasta here, it can be said that it is very simple but super delicious. we will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I was a bit disappointed to find that their patio had just closed the week before, which was one of the main reasons I made the reservation. I opted for the traditional 5-course menu, and while the service was warm and attentive, the pacing was slow—I arrived at 7 pm and didn’t finish until almost 10, despite being a fairly quick eater by European standards.

The amuse-bouche, which tasted a bit like a salty, fishy codfish paste, wasn’t to my liking. The arancini-style dish was just fine, though a little dry. The charcuterie was a generous portion, more than I had anticipated, but it was tasty. The highlight of the meal was without a doubt the Risotto Milanese and Osso Buco—absolutely delicious!

The veal (vitello) was enormous, and after just one bite, I had to take it to go—glad they offered that option. The fresh tomato and arugula salad was light and refreshing. Unfortunately, even though I mentioned I was too full for dessert, they still brought it, though I did enjoy the gelato.

The staff were amazing—friendly, professional, and thoughtful, offering to store my jacket and scarf, which I appreciated. Overall, while the food had some hits and misses, the standout service made the experience pleasant. Just wish the pacing was better and the patio had been open!

Mediterranean cuisine can be enjoyed in PanEVO Restaurant.
In good summer weather, the dining is the terrace can be enjoyable!
The traditional Milanean

I tried Ossobuco, a Milanese style risitti and Milanese Veal Cutlet with Rocket.
They go well with Italian famous aperitif, Aperol Spritz.

SEAFOOD PLATEAU: There was only one regret, and I don’t recommend this one unless it’s fresh. The clam smelled bad..

[Breakfast]
As a benefit for Marriott Platinum Members, complimentary Breakfast is served for 2 people.
Overall, the ambience, the variety of food and the taste are good enough.

We dined here on the 19th June 2023. It is a lovely secluded terrace accessible by elevator, it feels like an oasis in the busy streets of Milan. Staff were all extremely friendly, especially the woman attending our table.

Unfortunately much of this was spoilt by the service. It felt like we were forgotten about. Tables that sat down after us had ordered, received and eaten their starters before we even got a food menu. I believe it took at least 50 minutes, after we asked twice, to receive a food menu. Additionally it took about 30 mins to receive the bottle of wine we ordered with no one attending to us in the delay. Given the price, I would expect exceptional service.

We had complementary tasters and desserts. All food was delicious and well presented. Though the first plates were a little cold but we were happy to eat them still as they were so tasty.

With a little more organisation, I would happily give this 5 stars for the unique food and its romantic setting.
