I’ve visited Panera twice since they’ve opened. I have received excellent service, quick, delicious food. Nothing gone wrong. I am happy with the new spot in town. Chicken poppy seed salad NEVER diaappoints, I’m a happy camper. I’m beginning to think the people in town just like to complain.
Again today 8/28 for lunch picture this time. I couldn’t wait to get home, picture reflects me digging in. So fresh, quality ingredients, fast friendly service. Still HAPPY. Panera has always and will continue to be my favorite summertime salad destination. For me the BEST Hollister lunch spot.

The sandwiches were ok we waited a long while in the drive thru my complaint is if you are spending lot’s of money you should at least have fresh food. Our desserts tasted stale/expired. Quality of a roof shingle. Shame that this is type of food that Panera has to offer

I was looking forward to trying Panera in Hollister, but unfortunately my experience was affected by a mix-up with my order. I ordered an Asian Seasame Chicken Salad. Instead, I received a salad with chicken, lettuce and about 5 crumb sized walnuts. Knowing that there wasn’t a lot of people in the drive thru, I didn’t think they would mess up my order. I understand that they just opened, but at the same time, our order could’ve had more effort put into it.

I’ve eaten at a lot of Paneras all over the state and I’m not exaggerating when I say that the food and service at our Hollister store is top notch. The counter people are always cheerful and polite, and my salads and bread are always excellent. I eat at the Sand City store a lot too and that one pales in comparison. And I don’t even want to talk about the Gilroy store.
My only complaint would be the blinding sun shining through the windows in the late afternoon. Some darker and automatic blinds would solve the problem though.

I was disgusted when I bit into my chipotle chicken sandwich and noticed big chunks of the chicken SKIN in it. Not to mention the bread was incredibly soggy after only 5-10 min from the excess sauce/liquid that dripped onto the wrapping. I will not be coming back to this location will go to Salinas instead much better.

After waiting 20 minutes for a sandwich and a salad, and the employee telling me they had to “bump it off” the list, whatever that means, I finally got home and saw that the meager amount of meat on this “premium” $15 sandwich was ridiculous.

I liked getting Panera but not getting there. Be warned, if you’re trying to turn into the restaurant from the opposite side of the road, you have to turn into a different street to get over or you’ll miss your turn.

We ordered a simple salad and a strawberry smoothie for pickup through DoorDash, thinking it would be quick. It ended up taking an hour. The food wasn’t complicated at all, but it felt like they didn’t care. No urgency, no communication. Definitely not coming back. Terrible experience.

. I went the first day it opened, ordered through the website my food did take about 50 min. To my surprise they gave me a coupon for the food not being on time. On top of that they doubled my sandwich order. Thank you ! The Italian sandwich was delicious. We all knew the employees are new and trying their hardest to make our food just right.
