I am currently sitting at the bar waiting for my check. There are 3 inside tables with people at them, and 6 empty. There are 5 people including us sitting at the bar with 5 empty chairs. We sat here for 10 minutes before we were greeted. Another 5 before we got menus, chips, and water. At 25 minutes I had to stop someone to take our order. The plating looks good, and while our food wasn’t cold, it certainly wasn’t hot. Being from south Texas, it’s passable like Taco Cabana, but doesn’t come close to justifying the Papasitos pricing. $20 for nachos? Seriously? Oh, and only 2 of the 9 tables outside have people. No reason for the time this took. And for the record, 1 hour 45 mins.

We had a late lunch here while spending a few hours in Lake City. The pace of the whole place was very relaxed. We were not in a hurry and wanted to enjoy the view of the town and visit with the folks around us so it was perfect for us on this day. The staff were friendly and the food was good. It was a beautiful day so we dined outdoors and enjoyed the June Colorado weather!

First time customers visiting from out of town.
Upon arrival, it took quite some time for them to even recognize we were waiting. Once seated we didn’t see a server, for 10-15 minutes. Drinks came out and we waited another 10 or so minutes to place our order. After ordering part of the food came out quick. We then waited another 5-10 minutes for the remaining food and utensils. We never saw our server again. No refills, no follow up and no check. We eventually went to the bar and asked to pay.
We ordered the Texas Style Chicken Fajitas for two. Clearly the cook or the person who developed this recipe, has never been to Texas.
Food quality was way below average, but the prices are way above average.
Very disappointing experience.
We will not return.

Stopped by for lunch. Lake City is a beautiful little town. Also a tourist trap though. $14 for a burrito is pricey and the serving size was small. It was tasty.

Cecelia was our sever today and was very attentative and happy while making sure everything was good. Had the soupa Mexicana which was perfect for the cooler day. Sat outside with a beautiful view.
