A new Panera location. It is very clean. I want to commend the manager, Craig, for being so courteous, friendly, professional, and organized. He has a very cool and patient attitude. This stood out to me and I really appreciated him. I want to specifically mention the yummy desserts. The pecan braid is a seasonal item that is a must have. Also the autumn squash soup and harvest medley chicken is an excellent choice.

Such a terrible experience at this Panera today. Panera has always been one of my favorite places to eat, but after getting the chicken avocado melt, my chicken tasted like straight up rubber, and my bread was stale! On top of all of this, I came to Panera, wanting a chocolate croissant, ordered the chocolate croissant after asking if they had it, they charged me for it, and then told me that they would need to refund me as they do not have it. Such a bummer and I wish that there was some way to contact customer service, but it seems the only way is to write a review.

The full size green goddess salad I ordered in the drive thru came with one tiny dressing with maybe 1 tablespoon in it. I specifically asked if there would be two included with the large salad otherwise I would’ve asked for more – very disappointing to pay $13 for a green goddess salad when you get hardly any of the green goddess dressing!

Panera is always great. Great pastries, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal and delicious self-serve coffee. I enjoy meeting friends there for morning chats over breakfast. Never crowded, relaxed vibe and helpful staff. Their ordering kiosk remembers your favorites, so it’s super easy to order “the usual”, including your customizations.

The chicken bacon rancher does not taste the same as it did back in the spring time. The chicken tastes freezer burnt, I had to pull all the chicken off to eat the sandwich other wise I feel like I would gag. Plus the chips taste stale.

The Meridian Chamber of Commerce had their first Friday coffee at this location. The owner and staff were super friendly and they had great service and food.

3 visits to Paneras Meridian place in Chinden.
Twice I found hair in my sandwich- I was offered a cookie the first time and told people are supposed to be wearing hair nets.
I reported the incident to the management and to the health department.
A week ago Tuesday, I picked up a sandwich at drive through. It had 2 hairs in the sandwich. I’ve been out of town and will be calling the company and the health department again. I’m done eating at the Chinden Meridian place though.

Panera is not what it once was. The sandwich was 5 out of 10; soup was good. The carpet looks like it was not vacuumed from the night before and every table was dirty with crumbs as well as chocolate chunks stuck to them. Seems like a common occurrence. Of course there is a spray bottle and rag above the trash can, so maybe you are supposed to bus your own table and wash your table.

I found hair in my order. When I went in to show them and get my money back, I heard the employee yell to the other employees, “we’ve got more hair” when I was walking out. I obviously won’t be eating there again.
