Visiting Louisiana driving through Baton Rouge and were craving some Cajun food. This place did not disappoint. I had the Rocket Shrimps lunch menu while my wife had the Gumbo. Both dishes were delicious. Our waitress was very friendly.

Our waitress Kaylee was super sweet and the food was served hot and was pretty tasty. Definitely recommend the voodoo egg rolls and the seafood alfredo had a great portion of shrimp and crawfish and crab. We also ordered the Gulf Shrimp which were underwhelming and basic (not really seasoned) but still good. We will likely go back to try other dishes in the future. We also loved the sweet potato casserole which was very sweet and almost a dessert to a wonderful meal.

This is a great little date night or quiet dinner experience. I’d had food from here at a catered event, but hadn’t been there in person until this visit. Impressive. Loved the quaint bayou decor. The menu has a decent choice of selections but still small enough to do all the choices extremely well. We had the Catfish Mornay, and the Roast plate. Loved it. Will be back because we want to try some of the other enticing offerings.

First time and it’s now our favorite restaurant. Had the pot roast and mashed and hubby had the hamburger steak with onions and gravy and mashed. We also had the voodoo roll appetizer which was so good. We will definitely be back. Great service and exceptional food.

My first time eating here. The food was so incredible. My waitress was an absolute sweet heart and perfectly attentive.
I got the Cesar salad. It was very fresh.
The Rocket Shrimp pasta was superb.
I also got the seafood Alfredo. It was so incredible.
The portions are generous and enough to take home for later.
Even with everything I got my jaw dropped to see the bill was less than $50.
Highly highly recommend. The vibes are so good I usually don’t dine in. I was extremely happy to see my favorite Gordan Ramsay show was on as well Lol.

Went for lunch today. The tables were dirty even though there were only a few people in the restaurant.
We ordered the fried fish and the pot roast. Waited over a half hour for our lunch and the service was underwhelming. We definitely don’t plan on coming back.

My mom and I tried it for the first time during lunch. The food wasn’t bad. I was disappointed with the crawfish beignets on the Trio. Our server wasn’t as attentive as I would have liked. The shrimp poboy was delicious. The gumbo was also delicious. There are other dishes I want to try.
