We tried Panera in Rockwall for the first time as I was looking for sandwich & soup. We used the mobile ordering for this one. That went ok but I wanted to add a cookie and it wouldn’t work for some reason, so, I had to order that in the drive thru. We each got different sandwiches. They each came on different breads. Dad had the tuna and him eating it was a hot mess. Hubs had the chipotle chicken avocado melt. He said he picked it because it was the highest rated but it didn’t have much flavor. I got the chicken bacon rancher and it was a bit dry. The chicken is like sliced deli meat, so don’t go in expecting a chicken breast. Dad and I got the broccoli cheese soup and it was good. The chocolate chip cookies were good but not worth 3$ each. I think we’ll stick to our fave sandwich shops as we thought they just try to do too much here with all of the variations. With all that being said, the drive thru guy was very quick and nice!

The cleanest Panera I’ve been to. And I’ve visited many in Texas. Love the design in this location, with various nooks & crannies as well as wide spaces for tables for a larger group. Even outside seating too. Love how organized & clean the beverage areas are abd just the interior in general.
Appreciate how friendly & warm but in a quiet professional way the staff are. Food made well & pastries look fresh & inviting in their layout. Impressive.

Stopped in for the first time on Thursday with my family. When we went there was a manager walking around cleaning tables, seeing to the tables, straightening up the drink area and handling his business. We were at the counter for 3 or 4 minutes and there was an employe back in the back that looked over to us and then went back to his duties. My guess is they are short staffed like everywhere else and he was doing all the back work while the manager handled the front.
We opted to order from the kiosk and I got a ham sandwich thing, i do not recall the name. Food was made well, portions seem a bit small for what you pay for. My daughter ordered a bowl of broccoli mac and cheese and the portion was very small also. a single spoon fool exposed the bottom of the bowl. For something that has such a low overhead it doesn’t seem like this is a place to cut corners.
All in all, it is alright, just do not go hungry.

Im gonna keep it at 3 stars only because this was my first time eating at this establishment. I ordered the French chiabatta dipper sandwich. I usually love this type of sandwich from places when I go somewhere but I was disappointed in Paneras version. The sauce it comes with was way to thick for my taste and had to many onions. I was also not a fan of their meat. However, i did love their bread. It was nothing they specifically did wrong I’m just not a fan.

Had a quick lunch with my hubby, and was pleased to see the cream of chicken with wild rice soup was back. Put it in a bread bowl and it’s even better. (Whoever invented the bread bowl is one part genius and one part jerk… it’s less healthy that way, but delish. )
Hubs had the flatbread pizza with a side of mac & cheese. Both of our meals were lovely.
I got this cute pumpkin cookie also (if you get a drink and entree, you get it for 99 cents; we both ordered water, so it was full price. Yes, we did calculations to see which was the better deal. )
It was clean, nice and prompt service, even though the parking lot was pretty full.
Definitely a great location, so if you’re in the area, stop by!

I am absolutely dumbfounded by the mistake Panera made on our order today. We ordered the Bacon Mac and Cheese. When we opened the cup, we found not bacon, but NUTS on the Mac and cheese. I don’t know who can mix up bacon and nuts, but this was a huge mistake. Along with that, our order was all mixed up (chips instead of bread, etc.). I like Panera, but would NOT recommend this location. Photo included.

Well, I like the fact that you can order your food on the front tablets and pay at the same time when you walk in!! So no communication whatsoever!! So that was pretty good that you can order food without being bothered!! It took about 5/6 min until I got my food. For what I paid the portion was very small! A half sandwich, a very hard piece of bread and a little tiny bowl of side dish! The taste was okay, it was not something special that make me to come back here again!

Ok location of Panera.The service can be hit or miss, though the manager is great. My order, macaroni and cheese with Ceasar salad, is always correct and tastes fresh. Great place to get a bite and hangout with friends or work on a laptop. Quick service and good food. Easy access from Interstate 30 and right next to major shopping centers in Rockwall.

I am leaving a three star review because the quality and service are literally day and night. I have ordered twice in the morning for delivery and both times have been a huge disappointment. So obviously it may be the staff for these early hours because I have also ordered several family meals in the evening and they were fine.
First morning order never received however thankful that the customer service representative took care of the issue.
Gave it another shot and the family meals are great so far no complaints.
Then tried to order breakfast again this morning and a complete waste. The sandwich was soggy lacking ingredients with burnt cheese, my side of bread just thrown in the bag like trash. I will never order breakfast from here again and most likely will not continue the dinners due to it being a hot or miss.
So if you look at the pictures, this is how they picture the bacon avocado melt and this is what I received the second picture. Very disgusting, burnt cheese, soggy bread, mushy, avocado, and bacon bits.
The third picture is how they placed my side of sourdough bread instead of chips just thrown in the bag trashy like garbage. I did speak with the manager and he stated this is Panera standard delivery of a side of their sourdough bread. This is tacky and nasty.
