Mountain Grounds Coffee & Tea has a cozy atmosphere and a convenient location, but the drip coffee was not the best. It had a very strong, earthy flavor that just wasn’t to my taste.
On the positive side, the ham and cheese croissant was absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the visit. If you’re stopping by for a quick bite rather than just coffee, it’s worth checking out.

Absolutely love Mountain Grounds Coffee Shop!
They have an incredible variety of gluten-free treats — from delicious muffins and cupcakes to the best bars I’ve had anywhere. It’s such a treat to find a coffee shop that truly caters to gluten-free customers without sacrificing taste. I ordered an iced pumpkin latte made with real pumpkin, and it was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The staff was so kind and welcoming, even though the place was packed — the line moved quickly, and everyone had a smile. This cozy spot is definitely worth the stop whether you’re local or just passing through. Highly recommend!

We have been coming with our church group for about 10 years plus. The service is exceptional. The coffee is amazing and it’s a stop we have to make on the way in and on the way out. They are so detailed with all the questions and the service is just the best! We drive all the way from Florida and talk about mountain grounds every year.

This is a great spot for breakfast and coffee before skiing! I went three days in a row last week! They have the best selection for breakfast, from bagels to sandwiches and toast. Their Matcha is very good, as well as all of their lattes! I definitely recommend, as the food is good, the staff is friendly, and there’s plenty of room to just go and relax!

My family and I are coming from Florida to visit and hit the slopes and we were in desperate need of caffeine! We were recommended mountain grounds by a local and this place is such a great coffee spot! Victoria, Sophie, and Carly were so friendly and helpful! Victoria recommended an iced chai with coconut and it was super yummy! My boyfriend got the campfire latte and he said it was great! Great spot! Highly recommend

5 stars all around. The staff are so friendly, the coffee and tea selections are amazing, and I’m obsessed with the lox bagel. So good. Please keep it on the menu forever. Their seasonal coffee options are always delicious, especially the gingerbread latte- not too sweet and the perfect amount of spice.

This was the best turkey club sandwich I’ve literally ever had in my entire 28 years of life, I pray that if I ever get reincarnated Mountain Grounds better be next to my house !!!
The owner was amazing to work with !!! Definitely the peak of my weekend getaway, those inter lattes hit different my wife says and the muffins warmed up are crazy !!!

This is a really nice coffee shop. I love art, so to see a hand painted wall was a nice treat for me. When it came time to order I honestly didn’t know what to get. I enjoy asking what they recommend. It was nice to be asked questions like: Do you like sweets? Savory? and other questions to pinpoint on what to recommend. I ended up with a churro latte and a turkey everything beagle. Hubby got a burrito full of flavor, not sure where they got the flour tortilla, but it was really good it tasted home made. Everything was sooo good! Thank you, guys, for giving us a great experience.

I was visiting my bfs parents in NC this weekend and we were looking for a coffee place that would be halfway decent. To our surprise we found this place and were pleasantly surprised. The lattes are the best I have ever tasted! The French vanilla latte is my favourite and honestly made us come back everyday we were here. The owners are so kind and greeted us (as well as the rest of the baristas). Thank you everyone for a surprising and delicious time this weekend.

My husband and I are visiting from Asheville and love a good coffee shop. This coffee shop is wonderful. We came two mornings in a row. My latte was nice and foamy topped, the breakfast burritos are fat and filling, the croissants are flaky and buttery. My husband got a seasonal latte and he thinks it’s one of the best he has ever had. They have a baby changing table in the bathroom as well. Staff are friendly and vibes are good.
