Ok, to put this context, we arrived on a Saturday at 4:00 pm to eat. We order 4 – You pick 2 ranging from soup to salad and sandwiches. We input our order into the self-help kiosk upon arrival. Then I scanned the QR code to track our order. The tracked said our food would be ready by 4:18. At 4:30, we still didn’t have our food and our tracker/pager never went off to tell us the food was ready. I took my pager to the window, and an employee in the kitchen said our order was ready. I delivered our food to the table and found that our soup was cold.. I mean like left out for 30 minutes cold. I took both of our bowls back to the window and the other lady poured 2 fresh bowls of soup, emptying the soup from the line into the bowls. The food tasted fine, but the delay in delivery and quality were lacking. No one apologized for the issues.

Friday 3/6/2026 my daughter and I decided to try Panera Bread for the first time. Rochelle greeted us as we came in. We were looking over the menu at the counter seeing everything that is offered. Rochelle chatted with us as we are trying to figure out what we wanted to order. I don’t see well even with my glasses and Rochelle noticed this and very pleasantly came around the counter and took me to the kiosk. This way I can really check out the menu. She guided us through the soups, sandwiches and salads. Let us know which ones are top sellers and explained the pick 2 options. We put in our order to go because it was 20 to 30 minutes to closing time. I did not catch the gentleman’s name who was prepping our order but he was very nice. He came out to the counter area where we were waiting to inform us that they were out of avocados and offed a few substitute items instead. For being our first time to visit Panera Bread I was grateful to have an outstanding experience. Thank you Rochelle for making our first visit great.

Won’t be back. Ordered two HALF sandwiches, French onion soup, and two drinks. $33.
Bread on both sandwiches was stale. Stale enough that my wife had to eat hers without the bread. The French onion soup tasted like chemicals.
They were running on a skeleton crew, the employees were working hard but I felt bad for them.
Won’t be back. There wasn’t anything about it that I considered a positive.

We went today for lunch. It was good. It deserved four stars. I had the roast beef and Swiss cheese half sandwich and onion soup. They were not wonderful but it was good. My wife got the half Mediterranean sandwich and French onion soup she said it was good. I went to the restroom and it was dirty. Pubic hairs in the men’s urinal. Toilet in the men’s bathroom wasn’t clean either. Worse

I have been in retail most of my life and I have always been trained and also believe the last customer of the day should be treated as well as the first customer of the day. We walked into the restaurant on 71st and 169 about 10 min to 8pm. We ordered what we wanted thru the kiosk they have at the door and selected to dine in. When my wife went to go get her water the wait staff asked if we could take our order to go. She replied no, we selected dine in because the drive was a bit and our food would be cold by the time we got home. I received a text saying our food was ready so I went to go pick it up from the back counter, it was not ready. When the food was ready they gave it to me in a bag. I asked the cook if he knew this order was for dine in, he replied yes but they were closing soon so I needed to take the order to go, he then turned and just walked away. It would be a lot different if after a certain time the kiosk would not allow you to select dine in or if they had a note posted that said something as simple as after a certain time all orders are to go.

Since the Digital Age has taken over, more and more businesses have changed their tune. Demeanor, energy frequency, and service has declined, significantly. Many people are clearly unhappy (employees) and it shows. The old days are gone. This is the new new. I could be more specific, but the list is long and tedious. If you aren’t completely asleep or sucking face with a smart device – you may resonate with my review.

No thank you. Chicken Mediterranean Bowl should just be called a Mediterranean Bowl. I ordered it without arugula and hummus, so I fully expected veggies/grains. I was happy with that portion of it. The chicken was misleading as Paneras picture makes it look chicken friendly…reality you get 2 paltry pieces of tastless chicken in a veggie/grain bowl with little to no Mediterranean seasonings/flavor. The chicken sandwich my friend ordered was thin but cooked fully with good flavor. Thanks Panera, but I will pass on coming back.

Not the experience I am used to at Panera Bread. 5 of us Walked in at 8:15PM. I saw 3 tables taken and no one in line. Employee was standing at back counter with ear pods in, frosting cookies. I stood for about 45 seconds and he finally turned his head and saw me and acknowledged me. He said someone would be right with us. He yelled the other way the other employees name. I looked over and saw the employee look our way and then slowly kept walking to the windows for food / table service. No issue there , he’s multitasking. But to watch him slowly walk to tables and back to window over and over . We stood there for 4 minutes and 23 seconds watching the guy listen to music and frost cookies and the guy without one ounce of energy mosey around the restaurant. We finally asked the cookie froster if anyone was planning on helping us. He turned and yelled his name again. Slowly from the back here comes slow walking employee. We gave up. Told them we would go where someone wanted the business.

FRESH Ingredients… Tasty food… And quick service… If it’s not busy… My my the southwest salad was nothing short of amazing… I doubt like eating much salad but this I could not stop eating… The pastry in the bakery are good too. No complaint about their soup either.
