Extremely awful experience! I actually received a gift card and was excited to use it. I pre-ordered my meal as a pick up from drive-thru. The parking lot, alone, was so hectic and compacted, I was almost hit by a car pulling up to the drive-thru. I wasn’t even sure where to pick my meal up, because the instructions were not clear, so I opted to go through the drive-thru. I waited for 3 minutes at the drive-thru, while the staff stared at me, waiting for my order to be brought out, or at least someone to give me attention so that I could actually obtain the prepaid meal! After patiently waiting, I decided to go inside and opt not to wait for my food because I had no clue how to get it. Then, I waited inside behind a few families, only to realize that it was the order line, and that there was an actual pickup line for the food after ordering… After going to the pickup line and waiting another few minutes, I gave them my name and was finally given my food, which was supposed to be brought out to my car in the parking lot!!! This is seriously the most frustrated that I have ever been, while trying to obtain a food order. It is clear that not a soul in this building took pride in their job, nor cared about anything at all!!! Not food, not service, not the environment… It is truly one of the most awful experiences I have ever had with a business and I can honestly say that I WILL NEVER RETURN TO PANERA. Not for free food. Not with a gift card. Not ever. The food is mediocre and is clearly not fresh… The entire staff needs to be let go and rehired. No joke!! I work in the service industry and I cannot figure out how this business has existed this long. Everyone acted like they were at home and on their time, and like I was a bother. I have never taken so much time in my life to write a review because the experience was that memorable. I do not have a good thing to say about the business at all! Not one…

Usually the usual suspects here. Unfortunately, today was no bueno. Ordered an Avo Egg White Sandwich-I know some places put cheese on and others don’t. When it’s listed with cheese I always ask for no cheese. The listing was missing cheese so I thought I’m all good. Well turns out they put cheese on, ok I can live with that. Then i discovered this strange green black stuff sticking out the bottom. Turns out they threw old rotting avocados on my sandwich. Big bummer!!! 🙁 Dislike when restaurants serve food they wouldn’t even give to their dog. Big bummer for a Thursday morning cash drop. Oh and the coffee was lukewarm to boot!!

Tried to use the kiosk to order my meal but didn’t work, no one was at the front for 5 minutes and I had to go and find someone in the back. When I mentioned it, she knew it wasn’t working properly but had no sign up. Ice tea was practically empty and no medium sized lids which I had to ask for. Gave me the wrong soup and put an unsliced half an avocado on my sandwhich. Every table was dirty and the floor covered in crumbs.

Ordered large drink canisters to carry out 3 days ahead of time online. Came at the time I ordered to pickup and they had not started my order nor were they aware of the order. Was told it would be an additional 15 minutes. It was difficult to get assistance while inside due to no one that worked there being at the ordering area or in the dining room. Would not order anything online from here again and would encourage others to call to confirm receipt of orders.

If my first and only Panera Bread experience had been like this one, I would’ve been a fan LONG time again! The food, service, cleanliness, food turn over time was terrific. They handle our very large BUS LOAD of TEENAGERS like a champ. All the food was fresh and oh so good! If all the Panera Breads are as good as this one then I’m a fan from now on! BUT… and it pains me to write this…they have to get an efficient dishwashing service cause YUCK! I took my 8th spoon to the bathroom and washed it in the sink!

As a new regular here with my boyfriend, I’ve loved everything an the food everytime here! Margaret is the best morning cashier everytime she is always there to welcome you in, or even welcome you back she is great with remembering faces! She even suggested to me to set up rewards so I did and sure enough we got points this morning just from our usual vist! The website is easy to use, and already offers you a “free” pastry, how good is that?! I always leave a tip and give thanks to Margaret. Sometimes I even see her go around and pick up, as far as I am aware Panera doesent have waitresses so it would be common to see people leaving THERE own trash when there is clearly trash cans and bus bins. I think this fast food / restaurant deserves more credit and Margaret deserves a raise!!

Ms. Margaret at the front is a gem; she works very hard to do a great job, but is often left to service long lines of customers herself. Good help is difficult to find, please treat her kindly. The other staff hide in the back while she does her best to accommodate everyone. Please help her Panera owner.

Panera Bread Review – Disappointing Experience

I’ve given Panera Bread multiple chances, but after our latest visit, we won’t be returning. Our experience at the drive-thru was frustrating from start to finish. When we asked for a moment to decide on our order, the employee’s only response was a dismissive “yup.” Not exactly the friendly service you’d expect.

After placing our order, we waited nearly seven minutes at the pickup window, only to receive bland food and an incomplete order. To make matters worse, we were charged for a cup of soup we never received—at nearly $7.00 for a single cup, that’s unacceptable.

This isn’t the first time we’ve had issues here. Three out of our last four orders have been incorrect and overpriced. Every attempt to call and resolve the situation ends with them hanging up on us. If customer service and order accuracy matter to you, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

The workers are always really nice (even at the end of their shift!), and the manager is always quick to fix any issues I have. Shout out to Libberty and Barclay(?). They are always super nice and even recognize me. Absolutely legendary workers.
