Excellent food when they get your order right. Which is not all the time (today happened to be one of those days, so this has become a 30 minute Panera Bread trip for a drive-thru order). The wait times are extremely long compared to 5 years ago. Even though the cost of eating here has almost doubled. So mixed bag…
Update: After going inside and waiting for a replacement sandwich, they got it wrong yet again. I got home, opened it up, and it’s incorrect. Which is about what I expect.

Ordered a pick 2 at the kiosk, they didn’t give me my drink or my pastry I ordered and when I went back up to the counter to ask if I could get the rest of my order, the person giving out orders did not speak or understand English well, and left me waiting while she avoided looking at me or helping me. Then, when she finally went and grabbed someone to get the rest of my order, the new pink haired employee gave attitude and said “you could have just said that”.

Went through drive through, didn’t give us both our drinks and had to be reminded about the other one, and when we got our food the macaroni was cold and the BBQ chicken sandwich had the PH of a used pad. Cherry on top was the bread we were given was mediocre.

I usually like Panera but I found plastic in my soup. I didn’t see it and started to swallow it and started coughing a little. I had this come back up out of my throat. I usually really like their food but sometimes something is missing from the order and then this.

It was all very good, except for one thing. I had to ask our sandwich/soup makers to have our bagels sliced. Also, I think $6.00 for Kitchen Sink Cookie is rather expensive. Thanks for asking.

Love Broccoli/cheese soup but decided to do pickup order on the bacon sandwich & cinnamon roll. Neither were fresh. Called panera & they said made fresh b4 pickup. Bread was cold, lettuce wilted & small piece of bacon & larger piece of turkey or ham??? CINNAMON BUN was not fresh. This was around 5:00 so assume out all day. Called to see if fresh made & the answer was yes. They refunded cost but only item i will ever purchase again will be store bought Broccoli/Cheese soup. I only live 5 minutes away from restaurant so was even there b4 pickup time.

I am very disappointed in my experience with Panera Bread. Here are some pictures of the sandwich I ordered and the sandwich I got. It was supposed to be a grilled Mac n cheese and it wasn’t grilled at all, just regular pieces of bread and there was hardly anything in the middle. As you can see, the sandwich looks nothing like the picture on the menu. For the price you pay, this is ridiculous. The other item I ordered was the new pepperoni pizza flatbread and there was hardly any cheese on it and the pepperoni was all slid over to one side. (We had it flat the whole time so it didn’t slide in the car). I liked Panera before, but $20 for what I got was not worth it. I don’t recommend.
