I recently ate here with my family and the employees treated us superbly. I believe one worker with a long braid and visor was clocking in when I asked where I can find straws and napkins. She was very kind to me and my kids. The sweet lady at the counter, named Harriet, was also very generous in taking my order. An added bonus was the pride flag draped in the restaurant. It made me feel very welcome and included as a member of the LGBT community. I have always loved Panera but this has boosted my feelings even more. Slay girlies! I will be coming back for the delicious food and good vibes.

I usually love ordering from Panera because the food is great, but this location is always out of items on the menu, especially the Caesar salads. When we do order other salads, the lettuce is pink half the time. We have recently ordered sandwiches that do not have enough ingredients on them to be worth the amount of money this place costs. We are going to start ordering elsewhere for sandwiches/salads to go.

There are few places I am able to eat that do not make me sick, and now that number has gotten smaller. I ordered a salad from Panera in LaCrosse. The crew did a great job of accurately making what I asked for, avoiding allergens and following the order, but I was dismayed to find rotting romaine in my salad- not just a piece or two, that happens, but a significant portion of the salad (see image). All other elements were great. It seemed like the heads of romaine had frozen at some point and we’re still mixed in, greasy and wilted. I was bummed to have to pick around a $14 salad to find the edible parts.

Sundays are just there get rid of inventory days. If you don’t come at 9am you won’t get anything you want. They don’t make anything extra for afternoon customers. They don’t even thaw cream cheese. Not sure who is part of the planning and demand part here but it’s probably no one. 7 people in the kitchen and food takes longer than a sit down restaurant. Let’s work on a little efficiency while understand demand on weekends please.

I’m just so disappointed! It just keeps getting worse. I really hate to give bad reviews but I feel I need to be honest because the food we have gotten is awful. Today we ordered 2 of the new sandwiches the buffalo chicken sandwich had barely had any chicken on it just buffalo sauce and cheese and both cookies were burnt! We couldn’t even eat them. 32.00 dollars for that. Last time I ordered the Greek salad no dressing, no Feta cheese, no red onions on it. Had to drive back and get dressing etc. The prices keep going up but the quality and quantity is really getting bad and it really makes me sad because Panera has always been my go to.

Absolutely disgusting. Was immediately told they’d be packing our food to-go style because they’re short staffed. We were not given buzzers, and signs said we could wait up to 45 minutes. We didn’t wait that long, however I went up to the counter to ask how on earth I’m supposed to be able to hear my name, or did they expect me to wait there for 45 minutes; but lucky for me my food happened to get done just then. None of the tables had been clean, there was food all over the floors. Everywhere. Being short staffed is absolutely no excuse to ignore hygiene. Especially since Covid is still very much a thing.

Panera seems to be experiencing significant staffing issues …Went to buy coffee and the kiosk said the coffee sold out thus could not pay. Went to the counter and paid. Got coffee and went to sit down. The room was near empty, however all the tables I could see needed to be cleaned.

How sad my daughter waited for close to an hour and customer service was poorly.

Now I’m not surprised that a non-Mexican restaurant doesn’t know what a ripe avocado looks like, but you’d think if you’re going to charge extra for sliced avocado on a sandwich, you’d know that a hard slice of avocado is not appetizing. Two sandwiches retuned with non-ripe avocado.

Last night my husbands father died. On the way home exhausted, overwhelmed, hurting we stopped at the Panera 40 mins before closing. His mom thought we’d get an unwelcoming response from the server when she asked “is it ok if we order food?” instead we got a big smile and an “of course!” From Tonya there at the counter. Tonya even commented on the sad face of my 16 yr old brother in law. We explained that dad just passed away and she instantly sprang into action. I think she would have dove over the counter to hug us if we weren’t total strangers. She gave us her sympathy’s and offered to cover our meal. Tonya went above and beyond. Thank you! I hope you see this!!
