$12 for a skimpy sandwich on hard bread. And a salad with no protein and wilted old lettuce. And there was a stone in two of the Kalamata olives. No wonder Panera is closing stores.

I just wanna tell you guys right now that this place is extremely good. The manager bought my tea for me. They made sure my bagel was perfect. I got it in less than five minutes. I’m just extremely happy. The tea is delicious as well so if you’re in the Ireland area Ireland Road area in South Bend, Indiana, please stop by get you some stuff sit down in the tranquil environment and really enjoy your morning I am. It’s almost like everybody’s family here. Everybody’s enjoying their selves talking nobody’s over talking anybody. People are on their laptops on their phones and just enjoying their own space. I love it here.

Ordered delivery to my home for the first time and was very satisfied with everything from the online menu to the delivery. Very pleased… Also appreciated the fact that they charge a little more for delivery and the menu prices are raised a bit but you are fully warned about this… Very pleased and will order again.

The bacon parm salad is delicious. The bacon and basil sandwich was dry and felt it was missing a condiment. The cookies are the BEST. Absolutely delicious.

The service at this store is outstanding, and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is not quite as good as some paneras I have visited: the space is more empty more open, with fewer private niches for conversations, and as a consequence it is louder and can be a harder for anyone with issues involving hearing or cognitive focus. Otherwise, this is a wonderful place. Highly recommended, with that slight caveat.

The service at this restaurant is getting terrible. The person in front of me took forever and I thought since I was only getting an $8.50 cup of soup, I would be helped quickly but I pull up to the window and sit for 3 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. Someone comes to the window and tells me my balance however while I had to wait I misplaced the credit card I hurriedly got out because it was just a bowl of soup, so the gal walks away and another 3 minutes and no one. Finally 8 minutes later I got my soup. There are 5 cars in the lot so not busy at all but the kids working were all too concerned with chatting instead of taking care of customers. The prices are way too high for such crappy service.

I only go out of my way to review CHAINS when they are exceptionally good/bad. This one is exceptionally bad. Do not come here.
This is my 2nd time going to this location. Spaced out about 3 months. Both times I ordered a cookie. It’s nearly a $5 cookie. And both times I didn’t get one.
This time (today, literally 15 minutes ago from writing this review) I ordered a grilled cheese, I added cheese ($3) and bacon ($3) and caramelized onions. 1) I did not get the added cheese. 2) Whoever prepared it put the bacon on one half of the sandwich and the caramelized onions on the other side. ARE YOU JOKING?
I spent $35 on 2 sandwiches, soup, and a cookie. THIRTY FIVE. Only to get trolled and not even get half of what I paid for. Needless to say I will not be giving this location another visit and will recommend my friends and family to avoid it as well.

The food is always served cold, and the wait times are way too long, even when the place isn’t busy. On top of that, I suspect the soup isn’t fresh — it tastes old, and that’s unacceptable when you’re paying premium prices. But here’s where it really crosses the line: the hygiene is disgusting. I watched an employee scratch their butt through their pants while preparing food, then go right back to work like nothing happened. No handwashing. No gloves. Just bare hands on bread, soup containers, utensils — it made me nauseous. This place needs a complete reset — new management, serious staff training, and a full health inspection. Until then, I’ll be warning anyone I know to avoid this location at all costs.

The food was great as always, love the French onion & broccoli cheddar soups.
