Came in the middle of the day on a Friday and was absolutely blown away. I’ve lived minutes from this place for years and didn’t know it existed. The margaritas were made fresh and superb. The steak tacos were tender and flavorful and the chorizo was delicate and perfectly cooked to bring out the flavors without being overpowering. The guacamole was also made fresh and they gave an absolutely delicious spicy green salsa to go along with it. Can not wait to go back!

As a southern CA transplant, this food hits home. We had carne asada tacos and a carnitas burrito, it was near impossible to have leftovers. Perfect cuisine.

My brother and I came in at 11:15 pm. We were waited on within minutes even though there was a full bar and one person working the bar and tables. The food was amazing! Our choriqueso was probably the best I’ve had, as was the al pastor in our tacos! Even the chips were made fresh! To get such service and delicious food so late on a Friday night is unbelievable. I’ll definitely be back again and I’ll tell my friends!

A place that I would definitely not recommend for many reasons: the waiter arrived very rude, he lost water and he responded that there was no water other than from the tap and at the end we asked for the bill which never arrived, my receipt of what I consumed in detail which we requested and he said he couldn’t do that? Freshest mexican food i have perhaps ever had. My friend and I shared the nachos and the portion was ginormous. Both of us were highly impressed with the taste of the guacamole. The drinks left us both with a smile as they had tremendous flavor. This place felt extra special as we found it by accident after having issues finding a place to eat in the neighborhood nesr by. The service was friendly and the vibe felt very inviting. Not super vegetarian friendly, but definitely left full and satisfying.

Update:
Unfortunately we had a horrible experience last night. We were up charged the wrong tequila. When brought to the attention of the staff we were basically told we were wrong. We were charged for hornitos cristiliano and not Blanco. After what felt like a 20min discussion with the owner via phone, we were told that the hornitos were the same price. We’ve always paid 14$ for those margaritas not 23$. It was also charged as 4 margaritas and 4 shots of hornitos cristiliano which wasn’t right to begin with. Unfortunately the way this situation was handled so poorly we likely won’t return. Also how does a taco place run out of guac and avocados. Lesson learned we should have left and went to BTOS as soon as we were told they didn’t have avocados.

2 visits and we will be coming back. Fresh squeezed margaritas, spend a few bucks and upgrade your tequilia from tortilla. Pupusa, tacos, and burritos have been amazing. Wife said 2nd visit tacos were a bit dry. Homemade hot sauce is fire. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu.

We got pupusas, chips with salsa, guacamole and queso, and the carnitas taco and al pastor burrito. The food was delicious and the staff were really nice and ensured we were happy with everything. We got beer on tap and they had a great selection, their mojito is the perfect balance of lime and mint and we were happy to see they had bottles of Jarritos available.
Definitely worth checking out.
