Portage Panera – Ordered on the kiosk a sausage and egg sandwich and received an egg sandwich. When I brought it back, the manager told me they were out of sausage. I asked if I was charged for the sausage and she said she didn’t know. She offered to make me a new sandwich with egg and bacon and I declined because of time.

Gift cards and got the $10 bonuses that started today I go to Panera and try to use three of them and was told that none of them are active and they can only take $10 off so I tried to just get one loaf of bread which is 379 and the manager there is trying to tell me she couldn’t just cop that off I worked in food I’m a general manager at a food restaurant and I know for a fact for my inconvenience she could have just come down $3.79 and giving me a bad cat and then she chose not to. Doesn’t really seem like anybody is getting accommodated for their inconvenience here

Ordered the pick two at the front counter, a broccoli soup and frontega chicken panini with an iced water. April tells me my total is $17 something. I ask how? She tells me my water is $3 something. I said “isn’t a small iced water free?” And she goes “one second” and then takes off the iced water. No apology. My total was now $14 something. I asked about the price of the soup and she tells me a cup is $6.29. I show her that on the app it shows $4.69 and she just says idk. I have another employee come over and she was able to ring in the soup for $4.69 just like the app says. I feel like I was being scammed or just plain ripped off. April might have been new and didn’t understand the computer system.. but say that then. Or a simple “my bad”, but no apology was ever given for overcharging me an additional $5, instead I could tell that she was annoyed with me!!! I had my 7 month old son in my arms squirming the whole time, I don’t appreciate having to take time out to Nickle and dime my bill, but I’m glad it registered with me that $17 was excessive for what I was ordering. I’ll go to valpo next time.

The stingiest Panera I’ve ever been to. I’ve given them 3 chances at this point (shame on me) 19+$ for sandwich and smoothie.

They are very nice at the drive-thru. They never sound like they hate life. They listen to what you have to say and make your order to the correct specifications. When you arrive at the window for pickup, they don’t take long either. I like the Panera Sip Club membership as well. If you like to buy drinks a lot, it’s worth it to enroll. You’ll save tons of money.
