Not sure what has happened to one of my favorite places to eat but I’m guessing either corporate or management is trying to cut costs because there was hardly anything on display to sell other than a couple left overs.
Couple pastries and like 10 bagels and no bread.
The full sandwich had very little chicken and avacado, my wife’s sandwich was made wrong and had to be remade.
Unfortunately I forgot to get pics of both.
Do better Panera (Marion)

Passing through Marion OH, needed Internet and hot coffee early Sunday morning, Panera delivered.

Excellent service by an older lady, great conversation, felt welcome.

Older facility, you can feel it’s age and deteriorating, but clean and good atmosphere, cozy vibes.

Food was passable, I had an Asiago bagle with walnut cream cheese and hazelnut coffee black with honey I love that Panera continues to provides honey.

In general Panera has gone down in quality, the beagle was tiny and it didn’t feel fresh.

This chain feels like a dying breed, empty, no body here, few staff, not much variety in choices, felt like a cutting cost limited operation.

I remember Panera used to be my favorite spot, vibrant and alive, always a line of people and the portions were huge, giant beagles etc.

Panera once was the new kid on the block, the spot to be early morning with your headphones ☕

Long gone days.

The potato soup that we always get from here was not good then when we politely go address the issue the girl argued with my son said it’s always like that ! We order it all the time it’s usually good but this time the potatoes were semi soft ! She argued and told my son he was lying that the potatoes come in a bag already cooked ! Well they got a bad bag and there stuff isn’t made fresh daily then ! My broccoli soup and grilled cheese was good ! No complaints from me

Had breakfast and lunch here. Both were amazing. Crunch beagle with honey walnut cream cheese. Also the chicken thia soup is great. Flat bread pizza flavor (chicken chipotle) was super. Great service and clean restaurant.

Ordered from here tonight because my toddler and I are sick, and thought soup and grilled cheese would help us feel better. Sadly, the grilled cheese I ordered for my son was BURNT and hard, and he was unable to eat it. It’s bad enough that you charge $5 for a grilled cheese, and then the bread AND the cheese are BURNT?!

I’ve worked food service many times before so I’m NOT trying to be a Karen. However, I do understand the standard and what is acceptable to serve. I would personally NEVER serve burnt, hard food to a customer. Quality control is important, please do better!!

Great Panera Bread. With Panera Bread, it can be hit or miss. If you dine-in, the food here ends up great. Their interior is newer, but they tend to be stingy on people stealing cups.

Mac and cheese was good, however, spoons were dirty. Took them back and asked for clean and employee looked through a bunch of them and proceeded to tell me they were not dirty they were scratched like the rest of them. Nice try. You can do better. I won’t be back.

This is a full sandwich at $11.49 seems like I received half chicken on a full sandwich. The service seems rather consistent with lacking essential ingredients. My last sandwich wasn’t bad at another location, but my experience like this has been consistent with this store.
So I’ve had this gift card forever and I’ve been trying to use it up because everytime I come to Panera this is what my sandwiches resemble with a lack of what I feel I paid for leaving me disappointed and unsatisfied.
Do I go back inside because I’m not happy with this service?
It’s sad because the lady is wonderful at the register.
What happened to Panera Bread?
Why do I feel cheated being given one scoop of chicken salad sandwich topping for a full sandwich?
The sandwich went up a $1 too. Make your money for the corporate stock market profits while sacrificing quantity/quality and customer service satisfaction is why I stopped eating out.

If you want a quiet, peaceful, delicious meal on a Sunday afternoon, stop in.
I apologize, I forgot to take pictures. SO, I just took SS from the menu. Now that I see the pictures, I realize that our sandwiches had maybe half of the chicken the menu pictured. But it still tasted great.
We ordered the chicken bacon ranchers and a half cup of broccoli soup. The food came out quickly. It was hot. The bread was soft and perfect.
The restaurant was quiet, the sun was coming in the windows, and- it was just what we needed.
I realize Paneras are usually busy during the week, so having it be so quiet was a blessing.
The only negatives were small, and temporary- the ladies’ RR needed attention. Also, the napkins smell like mold but they were clean, no wrinkles etc so it could just be the way they smell. Other restaurants have disposable napkins that also smell, so it might be a manufacturer issue.
Anyway-
the Marion, Ohio Panera is doing it RIGHT.

Parking is weird & difficult at busier times, but generally a better option than fast food.
