Wow!!! Finally, a good experience with a restaurant in Alabama!! We traveled through here at least 2 times a year for the last 25 years and always have had a bad experience at every restaurant, fast food or not. But today, this Panera’s staff went well beyond customer service. My son, who is not a little kid anymore, dropped one of the sandwiches, and I was told right away, “we will do another one for you.” I definitely did not expect that, being in Alabama, sorry, but I’m not the only one that has had issues in this state. Thank you, staff at Panera Bread @ 7/9/23 7:10ish am for the fast service of preparing another sandwich at no extra cost!

Worst sandwich ever! Today my wife and I tried Panera only because she had a gift card (only covered part of the check). First, every table in the joint was dirty. Second, I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Melt and onion soup. The soup tasted ok but was barely room temp. The sandwich had almost no chicken, no onions, no sauce, and very little “melt.” Given the horrible quality control of this establishment and the price they think their horrible food is worth, we will never be giving our hard earned money to again.

I need to call this as it is. We walked in to Panera at 750 pm after a school function. We were told by the staff that they were out of bread (they close at 9pm). Except: there were racks of bread directly behind them. Literally multiple racks of bread. Also, there were several loafs of baguettes behind the counter where they were making food. I asked what about all this bread behind you? The manager said “that’s for tomorrow.” Service is definitely defined differently now a days.

I’ve had good experiences here, I’ve had bad experiences here, overall I think the good outweighs the bad. The Panera Plus subscription, their rewards system, and the taste and quality of their food overall is what keeps me coming back. My orders aren’t always correct (I once received bacon in a vegetarian sandwich), but when they are, they’re delicious. It’s very nice to have high quality vegetarian options when not many are available in this area.

This is absolutely absurd. I understand a restaurant messing up an order by forgetting to add spinach or accidentally burning a piece of bread. But this????? 2 pieces of bread with a drop of Mayo and spinach. Ridiculous. Don’t go here

I was having such a terrible time with Door Dah and when I called Panera to try and get a refund and start my order over again (because it was over an hour late from Door Dash & they instructed me to call Panera instead) they were so sweet and understanding. I hate getting snappy with customer service because I know I could never have the patience to deal with hungry people. They were so nice and refunded me my order as well as did the nicest gesture of brining me my food on top of one of their cake pastries. 11/10!!!!
