Checked out this Panera location last night and it wasn’t busy which was nice. Placed food order at the front and sat at our table. Would give a better rating, but they never called our order out as ready and in addition, our table needed cleaning. Other than that, the sandwich had good flavor and the soup was very good as well.

First time at Panera 10801 Starkey Road, at the Bardmoor Shopping Center for breakfast this Sunday morning. The quality of the food was good. Good dollar value. Very good front line service. However, not expected from a chain, the place had a very family-like feel to it. Reminded me of stopping by my aunt’s house on Sunday after church for a coffee and catch-up visit.
FOOD – Avocado Egg white breakfast sandwich on the flat bagel – very good. Overall, the Everything bagel with egg and bacon sandwich was good. But if we’re really in the mood for a bagel, we’ll go to our favorite local bagel place. Hazelnut coffee was very good. Breakfast dessert; Oatmeal Raisin cookie, chocolate chip cookie and Almond pastry were all excellent.
SERVICE – The front line was Abby and Cheryl. Both very friendly. Cheryl kept telling everyone as they entered “Welcome in!”. Very nice. Cheryl, when there was a lull in customers, checked all the coffee pots and milk/creamers and refilled as needed.
ATMOSPHERE – Great atmosphere. It really adds alot to the dining experience when it’s so evident that so many of the other customers seem to really be enjoying being there. Multi generational, singles, young, older, couples… Heard this morning… Customer to Cheryl, “Thanks s much for the advice. I really appreciate it!” One customer to another “See you next Sunday!”

A stop for a hibiscus tea from my Sips Club membership turned into a meal with tomato bisque soup. Salads, soups, sandwiches and the you-pick-two meals come with a standard baguette side. I always change my side to an apple.
Great hibiscus tea with no added sugars. Great tomato bisque soup.
Accessible entry with medium weight door. Accessible venue with accessible tables.
Accessible van free parking in free parking lot with shaded areas.

Do better with your Uber orders. We routinely have items omitted or when we order a baguette we get one inch of ripped bread. Why are online orders somehow worse? When we come in the food is always fine.
Photo attached is apparently what qualifies as a “baguette” for an online order.

Panera Bread Review ☕
Panera is one of my favorite places to study or relax. The vibe is calm, the seating is comfortable, and there’s always a peaceful energy inside. Today I had two of their toasted sandwiches on cheesy bagels — super flavorful with fresh ingredients and great texture. I paired it with kettle chips and an iced tea from the Unlimited Sip Club — definitely worth it if you’re a regular!
The chocolate croissant and mini chocolate chip muffin were the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Whether you’re working, reading, or just catching a break, Panera offers a cozy space with consistently good food.

This Panera on Starkey next to HSN has poor quality baked goods and products compared with all the other panera lications. They are not making things according to Panera standards. For example I ordered an Orange Scone. It did not have the right glaze on it and it was not even put on it right. The taste was off.. It had a bad texture and one could tell they didn’t follow the correct recipe and were missing ingredients. . Other items in the case were small not shaped right and of poor quality. Its a shame they are charging full price for poor quality products I blame management they have a lot of kids working there someone should be making sure they are doing things correctly. I had soup and sandwiches made there in the past they were not made correctly either. They put the wrong cheese in the French onion soup made it taste like vomit. The sandwich I ordered was not made correctly and was missing key ingredients..Panera get this location together please ..

Substitute or sub is swapping one ingredient for another usually without charging extra. If I wanted to add to an order that would be an upcharge. Also tired of eating cold bread. You can’t afford a bread warmer? The food and service is really good at panera on Belair the location in pinellas Park is grime. I don’t think I’ll be going there again.

I came in with my daughter yesterday expecting a friendly environment with some good food, what I got was the COMPLETE opposite. I come in making it aware to the young lady working up front that my daughter has a nut allergy. She seemed annoyed the moment I said that. I brushed it off and ordered my food anyway. Food coming out took extremely too long. We only got two items and me and my daughter were sat waiting on our name to be called for 20 minutes. I look over the counter and see a group of employees all standing around and goofing off while I was still waiting on my order. I gently reminded them that my order was on the screen and I had been waiting about 10 minutes at that point. They seemed annoyed like the young lady up front and went on to make my food. Once I went up and got the food my daughter started complaining that she would like to go home so of course I grab a box and we pack up and leave this rancid place. May I also add that this place lacks cleanliness. Bathrooms are horrid and it smells like a dead animal in there. Once we get to the car I notice my daughters neck and chest are covered in hives. I rush her over to the ER across the street and get it taken care of. There were no nuts directly in her food but that means there is some sort of cross contamination problem happening at this rancid place because the hives were from the nuts. Moral of the story I will never be coming back here ever again. My daughter is traumatized. Completely ruined our family vacation. This place needs to be shut down and shame on the employees for thinking that it’s ok to serve that slop they call food. Absolutely disgusting place.

I mean it doesnt matter what time of day you go here, it is always a MINIMUM 20 minute wait for my food. I have been to this location four times and it always takes the longest time. Seems like they care more about the to-go orders and thats their priority compared to people who actually come in to eat. Keep in mind, I always just get a pick 2 soup or salad. Thats it. The employees are very nice but there is just zero efficiency. They forgot about my sandwhich and i just sat there watching my soup get cold for ANOTHER 5 minutes after I was already waiting for 20.

I live out of state and ordered breakfast for a client’s office online Friday for a Monday morning delivery. 20mins prior to delivery date it was not showing order as even being prepared so I called and it took my 20mins of calling over and over again to finally get someone to answer the phone, Kimberly the catering mgr. She blamed the website for a glitch and said my order was done and ready for pickup, so interesting my order started tracking as soon as I told her about this. I ordered an individual size of cream cheese in error instead of a tub so I asked to fix this and she said we can’t make changes to an order now, I offered to pay for it as a separate order. She put me hold and when picked the phone back up she hung up on me so I had to call back. She said mgr said he would just change it out to a tub (this was not done). She hung up on me a 2nd time as well but least called me back, she blamed this on the phone system. I called back after the order was delivered and asked my clients if everything arrived and was informed they still only recd the individual size cream cheese not the tub as mgr said he would send.. a girl answered the phone and she thought she put me on hold but I sat a listened to their entire conversation about me (girl who answered the phone, Kimberly the catering mgr and Tyler the mgr). She said its Brenda on the phone again and Kimberly said I do not want to talk to her again, the mgr Tyler said just tell her the order was sent out.. Kimberly got on phone and I told her I wasn’t going to speak to her and wanted to speak to the mgr. They put me hold again for another 5 mins and when he picked up was awful, he sounded like he was asleep, did not care at all, never apologized and tried to say he didn’t say what i heard him say. This is awful customer service. I spent $230 on this order and they can’t be bothered to speak to me on the phone. I called the corporate office in Tampa and left a msg so they are aware how poorly this location is being ran and their staff cant be bothered to speak with their customers!! I was told he the msg was sent to the area Director. I have ordered from this Panera for my clients the last 5+ years in a row and I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN, or likely any other Panera if corporate cannot be bothered to return my call either. ’tis the season for rude and uncaring employees
