I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and I received cold bread with slightly melted cheese. It tastes terrible. The service was nice at the register but the people who were serving the food seemed as cold as my sandwich.

I am not sure what’s going on with this location but the broccoli and cheese soup is always watery and taste burnt. It’s not hit or miss, it’s always like this. I tried to ask for another batch but they brought me out the same soup. Go to the one on 54 or the one by USF on Bruce B Downs. Those are always on point.

I am a 35 years old vegetarian who has never eaten meat in my life. I ordered tomato soup and Mediterranean salad at the restaurant and picked it up yesterday. It was around 9 PM and not a busy time as restaurant was quite empty and staffs were preparing to close up. I was also sick and I was half way through with my soup and found a piece of chicken in it. I was extremely shocked and horrified of what happened. It was horrendous to have a meat in my mouth. I was extremely upset about this and rushed to restaurant immediately to have a word with the staff. I explained how horrific my experience was and the manager did not even apologize to me or said she can refund me or I can get out. It was extremely unfair and she did not even acknowledge that it happened due to some mistake and took absolutely no responsibility for what happened and simply said cross-contamination is a possibility and disclaimer written somewhere in the restaurant and there is a chance that this can happen and they do not guarantee a 100% accuracy about their vegetarian food. If they apologized for what happened and been polite and offered me a refund, I would have left but they kept threatening to call cops on me and I said I was okay to call the cops myself and explain about this and I went outside immediately as suggested by the police officer on phone with me and when the police arrived at the restaurant, I was sitting outside and yet they gave me a trespass warning (yellow note) saying I should not return to this place for 365 days. The behavior of the manager and other staffs was extremely insulting and ill-mannered plus I have a written trespass warning for complaining about the meat in my vegetarian food. This is the peak of power abuse and the manager was also using an extremely mockery language like “oh! you want to be a cry boo boo baby” as I was in tears due to their extremely impolite behavior. I couldn’t eat anything last night and slept on empty stomach and could not even sleep over the disturbing events happened.

I placed an online order tonight. Two chicken noodle soups and 1/2 Asian Sesame Chicken Salad. Extremely disappointed with the soup. It was basically chicken broth. Very little chicken and just a few noodles. The dressing provided wasn’t enough for the salad. The salad contained sufficient chicken, but c’mon Panera! You’ve got to be better than this. Pics show what was left after the broth was consumed. Where’s the chicken? Where are the noodles?

Darwin is awesome!! Great customer service! I am disappointed as I spoke with the manager about the quality of the plain bagels. The bagels are really dark and the only excuse is that they place them on different sections in the oven or the timer issue! This is not something that should be out for customers to buy! Please do better! Not taking pride in your product.

Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere was very disappointing. The staff appeared disengaged, inattentive, and unwelcoming. Every table in the restaurant was dirty, despite there being multiple employees on duty and no customers at the time. The lack of basic care and attention was surprising. The food itself was okay but would’ve been nice to have a clean place to sit.
