We had bagels and all three were horrendous. Cinnamon Crunch Bagel has no crunch, like they sprinkled some cinnamon and sugar on top after it was made. It’s also not tall and round like we all know. This is a signature bagel and I couldn’t recognize it! Cinnamon swirl Bagel was a flat disc, could be mistaken for a pancake. Finally, the signature Asiago Bagel, resembled a plain bagel with 3 shreds of cheese tossed on top after the fact. 80% was thrown away because it tasted awful and lacked cheese.
With our bagels, we ordered cream cheese and utensils (knives). All were missing. Service matches the product. Awful!
I will never take my family, friends, business partners here again and be sure to spread the word.
This Panera Bread has failed the franchise. So sad.
There were twelve of us who met here on a Wednesday night recently. We put four tables together. The restaurant wasn’t crowded at all.
I loved my seasonal Italian Market Salad with soppresata (a kind of salami), garbanzo beans, shredded Asiago, chopped fresh basil and Italian dressing on greens. I asked for no croutons and my salad came as ordered. If you are avoiding carbs like I am, be warned: salads come with an amazingly great-tasting freshly baked roll with butter! So, while I avoided the croutons, I could not resist that roll! It was scrumptious, truth be told.
This is an older Panera, not as nice as the newer one in Davenport off the I-4. But my Steve comes here often for the sesame bagels (and probably Panera’s cinnamon rolls, but he wouldn’t confess that).
