Panera Honey Walnut Cream Cheese Spread: Most of us know Panera is a bakery-café fast casual restaurant chain with thousands of locations in the United States and Canada. What I didn’t know, was the chain operates as Saint Louis Bread Company in the Greater St. Louis area. The name comes from a word that has roots in the Latin word for “breadbasket” (Classical pānārium, Vulgar pānāria) and is exactly the same to the word for “breadbasket” in Spanish. Panera offers a wide array of pastries and baked goods, like bagels, brownies, cookies, breads, and muffins. What better to top those delicious bagels with than fresh cream cheese? Panera offers a standard cream cheese as well as a honey walnut version. The honey walnut is sweeter and has a color that resembles Thousand Island dressing. Tiny pieces of walnut can be found throughout and while they make spreading the cream cheese slightly difficult, they do add satisfying crunch and subtle nutty flavor. Personally, I didn’t detect much of a honey flavor, but it was definitely sweeter than a standard cream cheese spread. I tried the spread on both an Asiago and Cinnamon Crunch Bagel, with about equally good results. Give it a spread on your next visit if you’re looking for something different.

I enjoyed my visit at this fine Panera Bread on Sand Lake in Dr. Phillips.
The food was exquisite, the service was incredible and the restaurant itself clean and spacious.
Anthony and Nate were amazing and professional, he took my order and answered any question I had about my food, the manager Kaitlyn was also top of the line outstanding and with a a class service.

NOTE: The register proms for a tip option and according to our cashier, the tips do not go to the workers, rather to the restaurant (so ask the question before tipping via card purchase). Review: Great service and the food was very good. Dropping 1 star due to cleanliness issues. The drink station was a mess and several tables needed wiping. We used napkins to clean our table. Overall I would recommend this place.

Always kind, friendly amazing service yeah there’s a little bit of weight but they’re always is for fresh food made right on the spot. The turkey bacon bravo was the bomb, including the French onion soup that I got you can never go wrong.

I have the unlimited sip cup always an issue only at the Dr.Phillips Sand Lake store!!!! I asked for the medium cup instead of the small cup same price but they look at you like you didn’t pay!! Remember it’s the same price for unlimited membership. I think I’ll cancel it don’t use it much and when I do oh wow!!!!

not sure where to start but this location set the bar so low idk what to even compare it to, rapid order sat for 10 mins waiting on a “quality check” at least thats what i was told it was called, ordered the ranch “parmesan” blt sald and they gave me nasty feta cheese crumbles and a small amount of salad a hamster could finish, no apology for food sitting, no care given, smallest bagel ive ever gotten from a panera, wasnt toasted and looked like a thomas’s mini bagel, if i noticed this bagel before i left yall wouldve been replacing it asap, if your gonna charge inflated prices at least give a lil more food and show some kind of care, i can pay less n be treated like crap elsewhere.

Great location in a plaza with plenty of parking.
The dining area is large with many seating. But unfortunately this is where the positives gor this place ends.
Tere are barely any electrical outlets! Most of the outlets are by the bar seating near the windows.
The bagels are also on the stale side. The baguette is also soft like a dinner roll instead of a crispy crunchy exterior. Coffee isn’t always fresh and hot. It’s mostly empty or lukewarm and cold.
They used to have a microwave but it’s no longer ger available.
Quality has really gone down at this location.
Their hot cups turn to mush after 1 use!!!!

Very nice, clean Panera Bread. Ordered some good breakfast items and just enjoyed. Their WiFi is very good. The staff is exceptional. They took care of our order quickly and it was great.

Worked from this location. The food was good and fresh. I had the half tomato soup and half grilled cheese. It was very good. Love the fact that they vegetarian options. I gave atmosphere 4/5 because the restrooms could have used a good cleaning.
